MEET THE HANDLERS!!

Ralph Yagle can be found right outside Bruceville, IN, that is down Vincennes way!! Ralph has been actively flying birds since the early 80s, the only interruption was when he was driving race cars!! He is known as SPEED DOG LOFT, how many 80 year men do you know that would be willing to crawl into a car and take a few laps around the track!! Ralph is one of the toughest competitors in the club, when his birds are on it he truly is a force to be reckoned with!! As our most senior member and flyer Ralph is always inspiring and helping the new guys!!

On July 28, 2018 Ralph left his earthly home to sit at the right hand of our Lord. He will be so missed by all of our club members. Until we meet again at heaven's gates, rest in peace our dear friend.

Ralph W. Yagle, 86, Dale, IN, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Ralph was born March 23, 1932, in Freelandville, the son of Fate and Elizabeth (Ellett) Yagle. He married Jackie Waggoner. He retired from PSI after 40 years. He spent 52 years racing midget/sprint cars. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and racing homing pigeons. Ralph was a member of the Bicknell United Methodist Church, the Bicknell French Club, the Pigeon Club, and the President of the Knox County Water Department. Ralph is survived by his wife, Jackie Yagle of Dale, IN; sons, Ralph W. Yagle Jr. of Vincennes and Allen (Sherry) Yagle of Speedway, IN; daughters, Wendy (Jeffrey) Scott of Tuson, AZ and Cendy (Jay) Joslin of Bicknell; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sister, Liz Craft; and brothers, Larry O’Dell and Ronnie Crecelius. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tom Crecelius, Bill Howell, Russell Crecelius; and sisters, Phyllis Ward and Linda Wood.
