Chapter Five "Zara..I think its time that we start this little operation," Heather said suddenly as she pulled her attention away from the TV show that the two girls had been watching.

Zara sat up on the bed as she felt excitement rush through her veins as she thought about the risk that they were about to take. Zara knew that there was a great chance that the two girls could be caught and kicked out of the hotel, which would most definitely end up on the news to add even more fuel to the fire that was surrounding them, but she was ready to take that risk. "I think you're right, Heather."

"So...who's going to be the lookout and who's gonna be the one to slip the thing under one of the doors?"

"Since it was my big mouth that has gotten us here, I'll be the one who slides the note under the door. You stand at the elevators and tell me if someone is coming that way I can hightail it out of there and we won't get thrown out of this hotel," Zara said as she stood up and pulled her hair into a ponytail before reaching over and picking up the letter.

Heather rolled her eyes before grabbing a room key and slipping it into her pocket. "We better not get kicked out of this damn hotel..I paid very good money for us to stay here, Zara. All you have to do is slide the damn thing under the door and then run back to the elevators and then we'll go back to our rooms and all of this will be over."

"You make it sound so simple, but why do I have a feeling its not going to be as easy as we're making it out to be?" Zara joked as they made their way out of their room and down the hallway towards the elevator.

"Nothing that we ever do together turns out being easy or normal."

Zara wiped her palms on her jeans as the elevator made its way up to the seventh floor. She nervously watched as the elevator doors slid open to reveal a deserted floor. "Maybe this won't be too bad," she whispered to Heather before walking out of the elevator and towards the closet door that she came to. She glanced over her shoulder one time to make sure that no one was coming before bending over to slip the note under the door.

"Hold it right there!" a loud voice boomed out causing Zara to close her eyes and stand up, still holding the letter in her hand as two large men surrounded her. She glanced over her shoulder to see that another one had just taken Heather by the arm and was leading her over to where everyone else was standing.

"What exactly do the two of you think you're doing?" a man angrily asked as he reached for the letter that Zara was holding. She rolled her eyes before jerking her hand away, preventing the man from being able to get a grasp on the letter.

"I was going to slip this little piece of paper under that door and then I was planning on going to get something to eat," she said, letting her voice drip with sarcasm as she watched the men before her. "I didn't know that it was a crime to leave someone a note."

"Young lady...you're in some serious trouble right now and you're only digging the whole that you're in deeper. I suggest that you comply with what we're telling you to save yourself some embarrassment and time."

"I think you best be getting your damn hands off of me before I file a harassment charge on EVERYONE of you."

"Zara.." Heather said, knowing that things were really starting to go downhill at that very moment. "Just do what the man says."

"I think you should listen to your friend, Zara," one of the other men said as he attempted to get the letter from her grasp.

"I think you should stop telling me what to do. I haven't committed a crime and I'm hungry right now, so if you don't mind, I'm going to go and we're gonna forget all of this happened or I will file harassment charges on everyone of you."

The men backed off, allowing the two girls to walk away towards the elevator. Once they were inside, Heather started laughing at the mad look Zara wore on her face. "I told you nothing is ever normal."

"Heather..I'm more determined to get this damned letter to them. We just have to head to a new back-up plan."

"And what is that?"

"You're about to find out."

JC took a look around the backstage area as he waited for their soundcheck to begin. He wished that he could talk to someone about all the problems that he was having with Bobbie, but he knew that none of the other guys felt like hearing about his problems when they had enough of their own to deal with. He was about to make his way towards the stage but stopped when he felt his cell phone vibrate in his pocket. He pulled it out and didn't bother to look at the caller ID, not really caring who was on the other line. "This is JC."

"Hey baby," her voice purred into the phone, causing him to roll his eyes when he knew that she was going to act as if nothing was wrong. "Are you still missing me?"

"I don't know what I feel right now, Bobbie," he spat out angrily as he reached up and ran a hand through his hair.

"How about turning around so I can help you figure out what you're feeling."

"What?" he asked as he slowly turned around and felt his jaw drop when he saw her standing there holding the cell phone up to her ear and smiling back at him.

He closed his phone before walking over to her and sweeping her up in his arms. "Gorgeous..I have missed you so damn much."

She pulled his face to hers and kissed him quickly before pulling away as she felt his hands tightening their hold on her waist. "I thought I'd come and surprise the man that I love."

"I'm sorry for being a jerk to you."

"It was partially my fault, baby," she said as she pulled away from him and connected her hand with hers. "Don't you have to go do soundcheck?"

"I want to stay here with you," he whispered as he stopped and pulled her flat against him.

She giggled before reaching up and kissing him quickly again. "We'll have time to catch up before you have to perform tonight..now go hurry up and do a soundcheck that way you can spend some more time with me."

He growled before kissing her cheek quickly and jogging towards the stage, leaving her standing there with a smile on her face, that soon disappeared when he was out of sight. She turned on her heels and headed towards the dressing rooms, knowing that no one would be around so that she could take care of some urgent business that no one knew about. Once she was alone in the dressing room, she pulled out her cellphone and dialed a number that she had dialed many times before.

"I need to speak to Mr. Harlen," she said in a business like tone as she tapped her foot on the ground.

"Can I ask who's calling?"

"Tell him its Bobbie and its urgent."

"One moment," the secretary said before she was placed on hold while annoying music played.

"Hello Sweetie," a deep voice said into the phone causing Bobbie's smile to return to her lips.

"Keith...I think its time we start this little plan of ours," she said as she sat down on the leather couch and crossed her legs.

"Are you sure that no one suspects a thing?" he said before chuckling into the phone.

"Believe me, Keith..no one suspects that our dear Mr. Chasez is about to be taken on the ride of a lifetime."

Zara laid down on her bed and sighed with frustration as she tried to think of a way to explain the new plan that she had came up with. She wasn't exactly certain if they'd have better luck with this plan, but she knew that it was their only option. NSYNC's security was less than thrilled with them, and they couldn't afford to be caught again. She had never imagined that it would be so hard to get a letter to them, but she was learning that even the easiest of tasks could turn out to be the hardest missions.

"So you're basically saying that I'm going to have to be a decoy for this plan?" Heather said, not fully understanding what Zara was wanting her to do.

"Basically..all you've got to do is keep most of the members of security busy...I'm going to try and find a maid's uniform or something and wear it up there, and you'll definitely have to have a wig and talk in a fake accent or they'll immediately recognize who you are."

"What exactly am I supposed to say to these guys so that I don't sound like obvious?" Heather asked as she popped a chip into her mouth.

"You've always said you wanted to be an actress...here's your chance. Just talk to them about something! Surely you can come up with something that will distract them for at least five minutes..that gives me plenty of time to slip the letter under the door and leave," Zara said before reaching over and taking a chip out of the bag that Heather was holding.

"Zar..no offense but you really need to start thinking your plans through before acting."

Zara laughed before crunching on the chip. "Heather..I think you're right about that, but if I did that, things wouldn't be half as exciting and we'd lead dull lives."

"I have to agree with you on that much."

"OK..I'm going to go find some type of disguise for me and I'm sure you'll find everything you need in my stuff, considering we dress differently. I should be back in about thirty minutes and then we'll go do this and finally we can eat before we both die from starvation," Zara joked as she made her way towards the door, her brain filled with possible ideas of where to find the outfit that she would need. Zara had convinced herself that once the costumes were taken care of, things would be smooth sailing from then out. If only she'd listened to the back of her mind that was softly telling her that things wouldn't be so simple, she could have prepared herself for what was about to take place.
