Justin tickled Whitney's sides and smiled as she squirmed to get away from him. He tightened his hold on her, which meant that she was stuck. "Say the magic words and I'll stop."
She chuckled and squirmed some more. "Stop, Justin..I..I don't know the...stop..magic words."
"Then it just sucks for you," he said, not stoping the attack on her sides.
"Please, Justin," she begged, her eyes locking onto his. As soon as her gaze had penetrated his, he stopped tickling her and leaned in so that he could kiss her. She sighed against his lips, and linked her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He shifted his weight and pushed her back onto the couch, never breaking the contact of their lips.
When his lips left hers to make a small trail of kisses down her jaw line, her senses snapped back into order, and she pushed against his chest. "What?" he asked, his blue eyes blazing as he looked up at her.
"Justin, we're on a bus...anyone could walk in. We can wait..."
He sighed, before getting off of her."Damn...I'm just use to being around the guys and they are use to our display of affection..I'm sure the crew members wouldn't mind seeing us go at it," he joked, raising his eyebrows up and down.
She smacked his chest before picking up her labtop that was on the floor. "You seriously have issues, Justin. Just to inform you of that," she said, starting up the computer.
He sighed as he stood up, making his way into the small kitchenette area on the bus. He came back to the couch, holding a few cookies in his hand."Want one?" he said, outstretching one to her.
She shook her head, keeping her attention on the screen. As Justin ate, he studied her facial expressions, which was something he did a lot. He could tell the emotion that she was feeling from an article, because her face couldn't stay in one emotion. He knew she found something interesting, because her eyes widened in surprise. "Ohmigosh," she whispered, grabbing Justin's hand.
"What's wrong?" he asked, becoming concerned.
She turned the computer screen so that he could read. He began reading outloud what she was talking about. "Trouble for Justin Timberlake of the pop band Nsync, and girlfriend, Whitney Littleton. Littleton took a postion as O-town's publicist and is currently on tour with the guys...which isn't settling to well with the Nsyncer. We have recieved tips that Littleton and Ashley Angel have a 'fling' going on. Sources say that the two are very close and that she spends more time with Ashley than any of the other guys in the band."
Justin paused to get his breath before continuing. "Rumors say that Timberlake is handling the news by spending time with former girlfriend, Britney Spears. The two of them were reportedly seen together at a mall in Orlando, holding hands and flirting with each other as if they were a full blown couple. None of this is confirmed, and we won't know the truth until one of the parties makes a statement, but who knows..the music industry is something of mystery. As soon as we know more, we'll let you know," Justin finished before bursting out laughing. "That was hilarious!"
She shook her head before groaning. "That means I'm going to recieve some shit from Lou and this will always be speculated. We're friends..we're dating..and oh God..of course the Britney Spears' part had to be thrown in there just to stir up more rumors! Why can't people just stop speculating stuff?"
Justin kissed her forehead before shrugging. "I don't see the big deal. We know the truth and that's all that matters. Make a statement, that's all that you can do. If people don't want to believe it, then they aren't going to. You're just going to have to sit back and laugh at them..and kiss me," he said, winking at her.
She shook her head before swatting his shoulder."Yeah, I'm sure that the kissing part is REALLY going to help," she said, standing up and walking over to grab her cell phone. She punched in the number to Transcon Studios and waited until someone picked up. "Yes, can you connect me with Lou Pearlman?"
Justin smiled at Cait, a hairstylist, who entered the small lounge area. "Why is she calling Lou?"
Justin pointed to the computer screen to explain. Cait smiled gratefully before setting down to read. Meanwhile, he turned his attention back to the phone conversation. "Hey, Lou..this is Whitney...yes I just found out about the rumors. What do you want me to do about them?" she asked, bringing a finger up to her lips and biting it gently.
She nodded her head before speaking again. "So just write a statement, send it to Mark and then everything will be ok?" she said, before pausing. "I'll do that..bye, Lou," she said, before hanging up the phone. She smiled at Cait who had finished reading the article, and turned her attention to Justin. "I just have to make a statement, and forget about it."
Justin hit his chest to prove his point. "I know about this stuff. Come on baby, tell me who's the man?"
Whitney rolled her eyes to Cait who just laughed. "Who started all this stuff?"
Whitney shrugged. "I have no idea. I guess they've saw me and Ashley together a few times and started speculating things."
"The press has issues," Cait said before standing up. "I think I'm going to go call Dan and see what's happening on the other bus."
"You really like him, don't you?" Whitney asked, moving to sit down beside Justin again.
Cait blushed before nodding her head. "Yeah..is it that obvious?"
Justin jumped into the conversation. "YES! Very obvious...I don't even know what you guys are talking about? You like Dan?"
Cait laughed before leaving the room. Whitney laid her head on Justin's shoulder before laughing. "Justin..you have things to learn, my dear."
"What?" he asked, rubbing his hand across her back.
"Just trust me..things to learn babe."
"Why the hell do you have a teeny magazine, Trev?"
He shrugged. "Its something to read to see how we are doing among the teenies..but read that."
Ashley's eyes skimmed over the page before he started coughing. "What the crap is this?"
Jacob looked at what the two guys were talking about, before busting out laughing. "Why didn't you tell us that you and Whitney were having a thing?"
"That's because we're not! This is just a rumor that people are starting to start trouble...I wonder if she knows about this.."
"She does," Dan broke in. "I'm on the phone with Cait and she said that Whit's already called Lou and they're in the process of having it taken care of....Justin found the matter funny," Dan said, before rolling his eyes.
"I think Timberlake is trying to start something," Erik joked. "He's laughing at the idea of you having his girl..that's basically saying that you don't have a chance with her."
"Ohh..Ash..are you gonna put up with that?" Jacob commintated.
Ashley just rolled his eyes. "You guys are being stupid...this is my first major rumor though..and I don't mind myself being linked with Whitney."
Trevor laughed. "Of course you don't. Who wouldn't mind being linked with her? Hell you get extra publicity because you're having an affair with Timberlake's girl..he's the king of the pop world..you go Ash," he said, before dancing around in a small circle.
"You guys are on crack," he said before standing up and heading back towards his bunk, sneaking the magazine out along with him. As he laid there, his finger traced the picture of the two of them together before he sighed. "If only rumors could come true."
The guys were currently at a photo shoot, and Whitney was taking the time to catch up on some paperwork that she had been putting off. She smiled as she heard the guys complain about the postition they were in."This is very uncomfortable," Dan said before faking a smile.
"Just shut up complaining and it will go by faster," Jacob said through clenched teeth.
Cait walked into the room and sat down beside Whitney. "All guys do is complain."
"I have to agree," Whitney said, before returning her attention to the five guys in front of her.
"Where's your second half? Justin usually doesn't leave your side for five seconds...I believe this is a record for the two of you."
Whitney snickered. "Umm..I honestly have no clue where he went. He wouldn't tell me."
Cait raised a hand to her heart and pretended to faint. "Its a miracle!"
Whitney signed the last paper before laughing softly. "You fit around so perfectly around here that it scares me."
"Yeah well I try.." she said, before bursting out laughing. "Ohmigosh..look at Dan's face in that picture."
Whitney looked over at the guys and started laughing along side of her new friend. "That's priceless," she said, wiping away a tear that had managed to fall from her eyes.
"What's priceless?"she heard Justin say.
"You just missed it...just like you miss everything funny. It just goes right over that HUGE head of yours," she said, standing up and kissing his lips quickly.
"I do not have a big head!" he defended.
Cait chuckled. "Yeah you do, Justin. All those damn curls give it radius."
He shook his finger at her. "No one asked you here, Ms. I-have-the-hots-for-Dan."
She started to blush and quickly left the room. Whitney smacked him. "That was just ...that was funny but she gets embarrased easy. By the way...where were you?" she asked, unaware of the blue eyes that was watching the two of them.
He shrugged before breaking into a bright smile. "I was arranging somethings..but you'll find out about those later. Right now, I have some more things to do..I just wanted to say that I'll see you soon..love you," he said, before plating a deep kiss on her lips.
Ashley cringed when he saw the couple's display of affection, but took a deep breath to hide that he was affected by it. Dan nudged him before smiling sympathetically.
Whitney sighed as she watched Justin walk out the door. She turned her attention back to the guys and jumped slightly when her eyes connected with Ashley's. No sooner had it happened, he had turned away from her. She just shook it off as nothing before heading to find Cait.
Ashley had chills on his arms from the feelings that had coursed through his body from simply looking into her eyes. He blinked to recover before turning his attention back to the camera in front of him.
Cait chuckled. "Considering that you drug me into a room..I'm going to say yes we can talk..I mean I don't care."
She blushed from acting so stupid. "You can't tell Justin this...nobody for that matter."
Cait narrowed her eyes before nodding her head. "You know I won't say anything..what's wrong?"
"After Justin left...I turned to see what the guys were up to..and Ashley was starring over at us, and our eyes locked and I don't know..I just felt something I know I shouldn't have felt, considering I'm with Justin. It was just like excitement..what the crap was it?"
Cait shrugged. "I have no clue...maybe its nothing. I really wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again."
Whitney nodded her head. "I'm just over reacting," she said, exhaling loudly. "It was just weird though, Cait."
"I'm sure it was...I've never seen you totally freak over something."
Whitney laughed. "I'm sorry to dump that on you, but I had no one else to talk to," she said, thinking that Cait was the only one that knew.
She was wrong. Jacob had heard everything. He had came in search of her to tell her she had a phone call, but now he knew this. He knew that Ashley deserved to know, but he didn't want to distroy the friendship with Whitney. "Shit...why did I have to hear this?" he whispered before leaning against the door.
