"Justin, where are we going?" she asked, trying to find a whole in the blindfold that he had placed over her eyes. It was their two month anniversary, and he had decided to do something "big" as he had put it, for her.

He wouldn't answer any of her questions, only laugh at her. "You'll just have to wait and see," he said, smiling as he drove down the road.

Denise crossed her arms over her chest and sighed. "I hate surprises, you know? I don't like this...telllllll me what you're up to!"

"Or what?" he challenged.

"Or..I'll kick your ass out of this car."

He laughed. "You're in a blindfold..how the hell are you going to do that? Your arms are tied up..hunnie face it..you're stuck."

"See..we could be putting these gadgets to better use..instead of you being an asshole to me!"

"Face it hun, you know you're in heaven right now, and I am in no way being an asshole...but..when you say it the way you did..it kinda gets to me."

She chuckled softly. "You seriously need help, Justin."

She leaned back into the seat, deciding to give up her fight in finding out where they were going. Not long after she had gave up, Justin parked the car. Her excitement was growing, because you never knew what to expect from Justin. He could come up with some funny stuff, and then all of a sudden turn romantic. That's why him and her went together so great. That's how she was, and there weren't many people in the world that had personalities like they did.

Justin realized how unique Denise was, and it attracted him to her. Her eyes showed mystery, but he knew if he looked deep enough in them, he could already see the building of love for him. It scared him some what. He wasn't the type to settle down, and it actually amazed him that they were together now. Usually, his "relatinoships" lasted a couple of months at the most, but this one was already at two months, and he showed no signs of ending it soon.

He helped her get out the car, and held her hand as he walked toward the cabin that he had borrowed from JC's friend. He had came up here earlier that week and decorated, and now he was about to see what her expression was going to be.

He removed the blindfold and wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his head on her shoulder. "What do you think?" he whispered as she looked around, her eyes wide with excitement.

She turned to look at him. "Justin..this is perfect. You've really out did yourself."

He chuckled softly. "Why thank you..I happen to think I did a very good job."

She leaned into him and pressed her lips to his gently. "Thank you."

Denise watched from above as her helpless body laid in the bed. The guys were gathered around her, and she couldn't stop the tears that were flowing down her face. "Why can't I wake up?" she asked Becky, as she continued to monitor the scene below.

Becky placed her hand on her shoulder and sighed. "It's not time for you to wake up. You're not trying hard enough..you may be thinking that you are, but if you were, you would be making progress....fight Denise. You aren't reaching deep enough inside you."

Her head whipped to look at her friend. "I can't fight any harder! I don't know where to reach to produce the stregnth to do this. Seeing him like that breaks my heart and makes me weak! I can't do it..." she said, starting to sob.

Becky shook her head firmly. "Don't give up. It's not your time to go, just like it wasn't my time. I gave up, Denise. Spending eternity up here, is nothing like spending a lifetime down there. You have him, Denise. Up here, all you can do it watch, and try and protect him from harm. But, being down there, you can live your life with him. Fight, Denise. Fight for me...fight for the chance that I gave up."

Denise looked at her with bloodshot eyes. "I'm trying..I just don't know how much longer I can fight."

Becky forced her to meet her eyes. "You listen to me..I don't care how weak you are. I'm sick of you trying to give up. I gave up on my chance. I left behind my chance at a family, of fulfilling my dreams, but most of all I gave up on my chance at finding a love like you and that man down there have. I would give anything to do it all over. I'm counting on you to do that for me. You were the one person that stood by me whenever anything happened, and you wouldn't let me give up. You weren't up here telling me to fight for my life the day that this happened to me, but I've got the chance to make you fight for yours. I can't make you do anything, but I won't stand by your side and let you throw this all away. You've worked so hard, and I'm telling you..YOU CAN DO THIS."

"I want to..."

Becky sighed and looked back down at the body. "If you want to, then do it. Dig deep, Denise. There's something that has happened to you that is going to give you the strength to do this. It's not going to come to you...but once you find it..everything will work out."

Denise turned her attention to what Justin was saying, and each word he whispered gave her hope. She just hoped that the hope he was sending her was enough to make her find what she needed to survive.

Stephanie hugged Lance's side as they stood in the room. Her heart went out to Justin as she heard him talking to Denise's unconcious body. She was unaware of the tears falling down her cheeks, until Lance reached up to brush them away. Denise and her weren't all that close, but it still pained her to see someone she considered a friend in this condition.

She couldn't even begin to imagine the pain that Justin must have been feeling at that moment. Knowing that the one person that you loved was laying there in front of you, and there was nothing you could do to help, must be hell on earth to go through. She couldn't even begin to imagine what she would do if that was Lance laying there instead of Denise. She shuddered at the thoughts going through her mind, and closed her eyes, trying to stop her brain from heading in the direction it was going.

A few minutes later, everyone cleared out so that the doctors could check her over and make sure that her vital signs were ok. After their visit was over, the doctor updated them on her condition. She was a little stronger but she was still in the coma. They didn't have a clue how long she'd be in it, or if she'd even come out. Each doctor had their own opinion, and Justin didn't know who to believe. All he knew was his faith was running low and he needed a sign that she was going to be ok.

"She's going to be ok," Whitney whispered as she laid her head onto his chest. He closed his eyes and rested his head on top of hers.

"You don't know how much I pray that you're right...its just...she's staying the same..."

"That's not true,...the doctors said she looks stronger."

He rolled his eyes, before walking over to a car and setting down. "Whitney, hunnie...they'll say that just to give you some hope."

She sighed and sat down in the chair that was between Justin and JC's. JC happened to be asleep at that moment, and it was time that Justin got the same lecture that he had given her. "Listen to me, Justin..." she said, her eyes locking onto his.

"If you give up hope, she's got nothing to fall back on. You have to want her to pull through this, and you have to hold her faith while she's lying in that bed. She's been dependant on you before, now she needs you more than ever. If you are ready to through in the towel, you're letting her down, but most of all Justin, you're letting your heart down."

Justin knew she was right, and he hung his head, trying to fight back the tears that he had come accoustomed to crying. "It's just hard..."

She didn't want to sound mean, but he needed someone to set everything staight, so she let her tone stay harsh. "Justin...if you think what you're having to do is hard, imagine what she's feeling right now. She is fighting as hard as she can....she's drained, but you have that extra energy in you."

His eyes looked into hers and he nodded his head. "I won't give up..."

She hugged him, before smiling slightly. "That's better..now go eat so that your ass doesn't end up in one of these beds."

He smiled, which was the first time he had done it in the past few days. She watched as he walked out of the room, and once the door was closed she let out a long sigh. She turned around in her chair to see JC looking at her with a smile on his face. "That's my girl," he said, before taking her hand and closing his eyes. She laid her head over and allowed her eyes to close before drifiting off to sleep.
