The next morning, Emily moaned as she woke up to sunlight streaking through the dirty windows of the cabin. She rubbed her tired eyes and looked around the room, feeling chills run down her arms as she let her eyes settle on Riley, who was sitting in a chair watching her every move. She looked away, knowing that if she looked at him any longer she would be sick from her disgust. She was tired, hungry and sick of everything that was happening. She had hoped that these events had just been a dream and that when she awoke, they would be gone. But it was reality because Riley was in the same room as her.

"You have a creepy thing with watching people," she said coldly as she sat up on the side of the dusty couch and put her legs on the floor.

"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are when you first wake up?" he said in a tone that she had never before heard from him. "You really are sexy, Em."

Her stomach did flips as she watched him move from the chair that he had been sitting in over to the couch, only a few inches from where she sat. Her toes curled in her shoes and she bit her lip to keep from screaming hateful words in his direction. His tone may have been new, but the look in his eyes was all too familiar. "Riley....please don't..."

"Shhh," he told her as he ran his finger across her lips. "I need you, Emily...."

That was all that she could handle. She sprang from the couch and moved to the far corner of the room. Her eyes watched him as panic began to take over her body. "Riley....I don't need you...."

He smirked as he stood up and slowly made his way toward her. "Oh but you do, Em...you just don't want to admit it. This new attitude of yours isn't letting you succumb to your emotions like you normally do."

She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. It was not going to be easy to keep him away but she knew that she had to try. If he laid one hand on her, she would feel like the dirtiest person alive. "Riley...that was the past and this is now. I feel nothing for you...there's no emotion to let take over. Why can't you see that? We are two different people. There is someone out in this world for you but that person isn't me. I don't love you...I did once, but no longer. I could never love you again after what you put me through."

She almost felt a twinge of sorrow for him as his face reflected pain from her harsh words of reality. "If you loved me once, you can love me again."

She shook her head and moved a step away from the wall she had been leaning against. "Let go of me, Riley...."

Anger flared up in his eyes as he reached over and grabbed a pillow of the couch, hurling it towards the ceiling. "Never...Em...you are the only one for me, just like I'm the only one for you. I will NEVER let you go....you are mine until the day that I die. No one else will ever possess you."

"I'm not an animal or a piece of property!" she yelled as she ran forward and slapped him across the cheek, tears of anger streaming down her face. "If any one of us is something other than non human, its you Riley! You are disgusting...you define the word with a passion. I have never done anything wrong. You always insult me with harsh words because it makes you feel better because you know of how much you've screwed up!"

He simply looked at her before walking out of the cabin, slamming the door behind him. Emily simply looked at the door, letting a slight smile break across her face. For the first time in a long time, she had the upper hand and she knew it was only a matter of time before Riley emotionally broke down. It was time for him to receive a dose of his own treatment and she was more than ready to apply it.

Whitney walked down the stairs and looked into the kitchen, smiling when she saw Justin standing in front of the stove with a frying pan in his right hand. She slowly made her way to where he was standing, sliding her arms around his waist and slightly tickling his stomach. "Good morning."

He turned around and winked at her before reaching for an egg and cracking it against the counter. "Good morning, Sunshine. How do you like your eggs?"

She shook her head and sat down on one of the stools that surrounded the island in his kitchen. "I'm not a big breakfast eater...." she began but stopped when he began to send a pout in her direction. "Fine..just scramble them."

He laughed and started dancing around, humming a tune that she had never heard before. He really was someone unique and she was still in amazement that she had been given the opportunity to get to know him. "Hey Justin...."

He reached for a plate before turning around to signify that he was ready for what she was about to say. She giggled and rested her elbows on the island table and turned her head to the side. "How do you know Natalie?"

He sighed and finished the eggs before sliding a plate in front of her. "I knew that you were about to ask that question. We're just....old friends, I guess you could say."

"That doesn't sound too assuring, Justin."

He sat down on the stool that was opposite of her and moved his eggs around his plate, occasionally glancing at her. "We dated awhile back...I met her at a venue in Canada and we just kinda hit it off...we dated for a while, but then things between Britney and I began to rekindle and I broke it off with her, but we remained friends after that. My Mom really likes her and invited her to stay while she was in town this week..."

Whitney looked at him for a second before sighing. "I don't think you're telling me the whole story...that sounds too simple to be true but I'm not going to press you. I just hope that you wouldn't lie to me, Justin."

He opened his mouth to speak but shut it as JC came running into the kitchen, a surprised look on his face. "I just checked my messages at home...."

"Did you win the lottery?" Justin asked before rolling his eyes and giving Whitney an apologetic look.

"There was a message from Emily on there."

Whitney dropped her fork and stood up. "Are you serious? What did it say...is she OK? Where is she..."

JC held his hands up and sighed. "She said that she's fine and she doesn't know where she is. I've already called the police but they can't trace the cell phone...she said that she would keep the cell phone on that I gave her and check it whenever she could."

"Call her back now!" Whitney exclaimed as she made her way over to stand in front of him.

"Chill out...I'm going to," JC said as he reached for the cordless phone that was setting on the counter. He dialed the number and tapped his foot on the ground as he waited for her voice mailbox to kick in. Once he heard the tone, he began. "Emily....thank God you're all right. Everyone is worried about you and the police is trying to find you. Whitney is standing in front of me and I know that she wants to talk so I'm going to let her speak before she tackles me."

Whitney took the phone and took a deep breathe. "Em....I miss you. I hope that we find you soon and I want you to know that Stephanie is just as worried about you as I am....hopefully we'll see you soon," she said before handing the phone back to JC and wiping away a tear that had managed to fall down her cheek.

"Emily...stay safe and know that we are all thinking of you and all of our prayers are directed toward you....hope to hear from you soon...." he said, almost hitting the end button before taking a deep breathe and speaking a few final words into the receiver. "Em...I love you."
