"So AJ, me and Aaron need to go back home to get ready for the party. Do you want me to drop you off at your house then come and get you later, or do you just want to come with us?" asked Alexia.
"Uh... I guess I could drop my stuff off at my house, then go with you back to your guys place," said AJ.
"That all you need to do?" asked Alexia as she watched AJ shake his head yes, "Well then you can just drop it off at my house or something," said Alexia.
"OK," said AJ as Alexia pulled up to her driveway. "You can go in the house with Aaron, or you can come with me. My house will be empty. Aaron's won't."
"I'll go with you then," said AJ as he climbed out of the car.
"OK. Come over when ya get done Aaron!" I yelled as Aaron ran up his steps.
I know that," said Aaron as he went in his house.
So, you and Aaron pretty good friends?" asked AJ getting Alexia's stuff out of the car, handing it to her, then getting his stuff out.
"Yeah. We've known each other like forever," said Alexia walking up the steps and unlocking the door. "And actually he's my brother."
"Really? You two don't look anything alike," said AJ walking in Alexia's house behind her.
"Yeah, well he's adopted. He found his parents a year ago, and he's living with them to see if he wants to stay with them. If he does, which I know he's not, my parents will have to sign papers and stuff so he can be with his actual parents," said Alexia dropping her stuff down, then walking into the kitchen to check messages. "Dad never called. He should have."
"How do you know he's not staying with them?" asked AJ. "Not to be rude or anything."
"It's OK. He's always uncomfortable around them, plus he told me," said Alexia going to the refrigerator. "In two days he's my brother again. We're already moving some of his things in the house already. You want something to drink?"
"Um... sure."
"Mt. Dew, Root Beer, Hawaiian Punch, Sunny D, or water?" asked Alexia getting out a can of Hawaiian Punch and taking a drink.
"Uh... water's fine," said AJ as he took the bottle of water Alexia was handing him. " Thanks."
"Your welcome. I'm going to go change, be right back," said Alexia as she laid her drink down and ran upstairs. Then she ran back down. "You want to come up with me?"
"Uh... I don't know," said AJ.
"Come on, I need your opinion on what I decide to wear. If you don't want to, I'll just wait till Aaron comes back," said Alexia as she started to turn around and walk back upstairs.
"OK, coming," said AJ as he ran up the stairs after her.
After about ten minutes they had picked out - for Alexia to wear - a blue turtle neck tank top and blue jeans.
"How do I look?" asked Alexia as Aaron walked through her door.
"Good. You have nice taste AJ. Other than you like my sister," said Aaron as he ducked from being hit by Alexia. "Hey, that was a compliment!"
"Yeah one of the few. Go Aaron, we'll be down in a minute," said Alexia.
"Why can he stay, but I can't?"
"Because I have to talk to him," said Alexia as she pushed Aaron out the door. "So, you do like me don't you? I saw you turn away when Aaron said that."
"Um... yeah," said AJ.
"Cool. Because I like you too," said Alexia sitting down next to him.
"Cool. I didn't think you did. Well I guess I thought wrong," said AJ as they got closer.
"Yeah, I guess you did," said Alexia as they kissed. After a few seconds they pulled away.
"So, are we going out now, or what?" asked Alexia.
"If you want to," said AJ standing up.
"Well, it's fine with me. Let's see what Aaron has to say about it," said Alexia as she pulled open the door and Aaron stumbled in.
"My answer..... is yes," said Aaron as he stood up.
"Well, little brother says it's all right, so I guess so," said Alexia.
"Hey, little by like 12 days!" said Aaron. "I think I'll wait for you guys down stairs. But hurry up 'cause it's almost time to go."
"OK," said Alexia as she saw Aaron walk out the door. "We're coming."
"So, why don't we go to the party now?" asked AJ putting his arms around her and pulling her close.
"OK," said Alexia kissing him. They left her room and then drove to Beth's house.
