When they got back to Alexia's house, Aaron went off to his house, and Alexia and AJ went in hers.
"Mom, Dad, you here?" asked Alexia.
"Yes honey, we're here. But we're leaving now. Oh, hello. Who are you?" asked Alexia's mom.
"This is AJ mom. Uh... he's a new friend," said Alexia. "Well, not actually new. I've known him for a while... but anyway. Have fun mom, and dad. See ya later."
"We'll be gone for the whole week, but we'll be back for Christmas, OK? Tell Aaron we're sorry and that we'll see him when we get back," said Alexia's mom as she hugged Alexia.
"OK, bye," said Alexia.
"See ya butt - munch," said Alexia's dad as he hugged her.
"Bye, dumb - butt," Alexia said as they walked out the door. Then just before Alexia's dad got out of her reach outside, Alexia hit him on the shoulder and said, "Got ya last!" and slammed the door.
"What was all that about?" asked AJ sitting down on the couch as he pulled Alexia sat down with him. "And I'm only a friend huh?"
"That, was what my dad and I used to do when I was like 12. And I said "friend" because I knew mom would give me a lecture, so I said "friend". Got it? So if your still here when they come back, your still my "friend", k?" asked Alexia.
"Yep, I got it," he said kissing her. "I love you," said AJ looking into Alexia's eyes.
"Um, me too," said Alexia as she took off his sun glasses. She knew that if she said "me too" or something to that effect, it wouldn't mean anything. Besides, she still had feelings for Kirk. AJ kissed her again as they leaned back on the couch.
"Hey, I'm hungry. Want some pizza?" asked Alexia as they stopped kissing and she jumped up and went into the kitchen.
"Sure, mushrooms, and pepperoni," said AJ as he sat down at the counter.
"Good, I'm glad somebody likes that kind of pizza," said Alexia as Aaron walked in carrying a bag as he walked upstairs.
"Huh? Oh your ordering pizza. Sure get whatever, I don't care," said Aaron as he walked up to his room.
"He looked like he was crying. Didn't he?" asked Alexia as she watched AJ shake his head yes. "Yeah, OK. Here's the number, order the pizza, and here's the info you need to know," said Alexia as she wrote down her address and phone number, "I'll be right back."
Then Alexia walked upstairs, and knocked on the doorway to Aaron's room as she walked in to see him putting away his clothes.
"Hey, whatcha doin here?" asked Alexia as she sat down on his bed.
"Those people I call parents, we're fighting with each other and me, so I packed up and said see ya later because I'm no longer your kid," said Aaron as he walked into his bathroom and put something away, then walked back out.
"Man AJ's really protective," said Alexia.
"Yeah, I'd say so. Wait till he finds out that you and Kirk have a child," said Aaron.
"If he finds out," said Alexia.
"Ah, if. If is good," said Aaron reciting a line from Hercules.
"So is that why you were crying?" asked Alexia.
"Yeah, I guess you could say that," said Aaron.
"OK, you gonna be all right?" asked Alexia.
"Yeah, I'll be fine," said Aaron. Then his face lit up, "Go on back to doing whatever you were doin with AJ."
"OK, that is not funny. I'm not gonna do that again, well at least not with AJ," said Alexia.
"So you would with Kirk?" asked Aaron.
"Mmm, maybe," said Alexia as she Aaron get a big smile on his face and she started to laugh as she walked downstairs.
"Maybe what?" asked AJ as he walked out of the kitchen.
"Nevermind. You wanna come with me to pick out a movie?" asked Alexia walking over to her purse and putting her sun glasses on.
"Yeah sure," said AJ.
"OK. Aaron, we're going to go pick out a movie! If the pizza dude comes, pay him OK?" yelled Alexia.
"OK!" Aaron yelled back down.
"Shall we go?" asked AJ holding out his hand for Alexia to take.
"Yes we shall," said Alexia as they walked out the door and got in Alexia's Corvette.
They came back after about 20 minutes and walked in the house.
"Aaron! The pizza here yet?" asked Alexia. Then she turned around and opened up the door as somebody knocked. "Oh, hi. How much do I owe you?"
When Alexia paid, AJ took the pizza from the guy and walked in the house with it.
"Pizza, pizza, pizza!" yelled Aaron as he ran downstairs. "What movie did you guys get?" asked Aaron.
"Coming!" said Alexia as she put some pizza on her plate and walked in the living room, followed by AJ.
They sat and watched the movie. Then when it was over, Aaron turned it off.
"So where's (yawn) mom and dad?" asked a half asleep Aaron.
"Um... (yawn) they said that they were going (yawn) to be gone all week," said Alexia as she stretched out and laid back against AJ.
"Oh, OK," said Aaron as he closed his eyes and leaned back on the couch. Then he opened his eyes back up, got up and walked into the kitchen. Then he walked back out and stretched his arms above his head. "I'm going to go upstairs and go to sleep."
"What time is it?" asked Alexia. She had her eyes closed, and was leaning her head on AJ's chest. AJ sat their looking at her then looked up at Aaron as he answered.
"1:27. Almost 1:30," said Aaron as he leaned over the couch and looked down at Alexia.
"OK, night Aaron. Love you," Alexia still laying with her eyes closed.
"Love you too. Night AJ," said Aaron as he started up the stairs.
"Night Aaron," said AJ.
When Aaron went upstairs AJ watched Alexia as she was slowly drifting off to sleep.
"I love you Alexia," said AJ as he kissed her forehead.
"Same here AJ," said Alexia shifting.
AJ watched her sleep then turned off the light next to him. Then he got comfortable on the couch and went to sleep.
