“I can’t believe that Nick actually scolded me!” Chelsea wailed unhappily as she flopped down on the hotel bed in their room. They had just come back from the Backstreet Boys concert, but their minds weren’t on the concert the whole time. They were thinking of the conversation they had with them.

“I’m still not convinced. Maybe he’s in a crummy mood because… because… because he, erm… uh…” Silvia hesitated.

“Crummy mood my ass. Serves them right for being losers when they were in school,” Willow disagreed, “So where are we going tomorrow?”

“I thought we were hanging out with the guys.” Silvia replied looking startled.

“You don’t expect me to hang out with those pricks, do you? Geez, have some respect for yourself, they’re just gonna treat you like crap.” Willow stared at her strangely as if she had gone out of her mind.

“Nope, I’m sorry Will, no can do. We have to stick with them for five more days and then we’re outta here. It’s part of the agreement.” Chelsea shrugged.

“No…” Willow groaned as she flopped herself next to Chelsea tiredly, dreading the next day to arrive.

“Don’t you think you’ve been a little too harsh on the girl Nick? She looked like she was about to cry! They’re human too you know. We’re not any more special than them and it’s not necessary that we have to treat every single walking person like crap when you had a bad day!” Brian exclaimed. Nick looked away. “And you AJ, you’re worse! You go flirting with every single babe you see on the street and the thing is, you actually think that everyone will accept you! You could just pick up a good looking girl and have sex with her. It’s called respect AJ, everyone needs it, not just you.” Brian scolded at AJ.

AJ shrugged helplessly, “Everyone has their own needs.”

“Just everyone, calm down, okay? We’ll apologize to them tomorrow.” Nick rolled his eyes as he pulled the covers over his head, “Guys, leave okay? I need sleep.” Kevin, AJ and Howie left the room looking helpless as they crawled back to their own rooms, thinking about what Brian had said. Once the door was closed behind them, Nick stuck his head out from underneath, “Brian, did you really think that I was that mean?” He asked quietly.

“Yes Nick, not everyone knows that you were dumped by that model hoe.” Brian stated simply, not bothering to look at Nick while he grabbed the remote control next to him and flipped on the TV.

“I really loved her Bri, I thought she did as well… but it turns out she didn’t.” Nick whispered sadly.

“Oh Nick, I warned you about her, but you were just so blinded. Those three girls looked pretty nice. Maybe you could have a shot at them.” Brian suggested helpfully.

“Maybe Bri, maybe.” Nick replied as he drifted off into a restless slumber.

“Morning!” Brian greeted cheerfully as he sat down across from the three girls on the table. Today, they didn’t look so wonderful as they did yesterday. It looked as they had barely made an effort to make them look good. Kind of like they dressed in the dark. Chelsea’s mahogany hair was tied up in a high ponytail and looked tangled. She was wearing a pair of flares and a plain T-shirt. Silvia looked worse, her light brown hair was let down loose like the day before and looked as if it was alive. Her hair was flying all over the place as she constantly tried to pat it down. Digging in her bag, she found a cap and quickly put it on her head, covering her hair. She was wearing a pair of cargo pants and a large T-shirt, not allowing the imagination to go any further. Willow looked slightly better, her dirty blonde hair was set in messy big curls. She wore a spaghetti strap with a white shirt over it with the buttons undone. She wore a pair of shorts with some rips in it.

“Morning,” Chelsea gave a little smile. Willow immediately glared at her. Chelsea gave her a look as if to say, I’m sorry, okay?

“The others are coming down in a second,” Brian said quickly, noticing the uncomfortably silence that had settled between them.

“Figures.” Willow replied simply.

“What do you mean?” Brian asked, sounding offended.

“Well, of course our princes have to be waited upon.” Willow said lamely. She picked up her orange juice and took a sip from it.

“They just overslept. They’ll be down in a second. And… um… I want to say sorry for their behavior yesterday, they aren’t usually this harsh. It’s just that they were having a bad day… they’re not usually that… um…”

“Selfish? Self-centered? Arrogant?” Willow suggested knowingly.

“Yeah,” Brian bit his lower lip, “So, do you accept our apologies?”

“Not so fast B-boy. We have to hear it from them. Who knows? They may feel like beating someone the crap outta them today.” Willow said as the elevator door opened to reveal Nick, AJ and Howie.

“Hey!” Brian waved. “Where’s Kev?”

“Oh, um, he’s still sleeping… er, he bit Howie when he tried to wake him up.” Nick finished quietly that you can barely hear him.

Chelsea giggled. “That must be a funny sight.”

“Oh trust me, it was. I mean, Howie was standing right next…” Nick drifted off when he discovered Willow glaring at him like he was her worst enemy. Nick thought that Willow was pretty but way too fierce for his taste.

“We still haven’t gotten an apology from you yet, Mr. Carter,” she told him.

“Apology?” Nick repeated dumbly.

“Nick!” Brian pinched Nick’s arm.

“Oh right! Apology! I’m sorry, I, uh…”

“Time of the month?” Silvia suggested, “Don’t worry, we completely understand that.”

Nick gave a little laugh, “No, not that… I… I was… under a lot of pressure.” Nick didn’t want to tell them about Celeste, his ex-girlfriend. He had a weird feeling that Willow would not feel sorry for him but to rub it in his face.

“That’s the understatement of the year.” Willow retorted.

“I’m sorry okay? I’m just sorry and if you don’t like it, then fine.” Nick replied as he sat down next to Brian. All this time, he was standing up without even realizing it.

“Willow, forget about it,” Chelsea told Willow, “Let’s just let us all be friends okay? I’m sure he has his own reasons. Friends?” She gave a hopeful look to all of them.

“Friends.” They replied together.

“Okay, incase you forgot, I’m Chelsea… and um… I’m sorry if I look a little… uh… scruffy today… if you could just give me a moment and I’ll be right back?” Chelsea excused herself and walked quickly to the elevator.

“Um, you guys, I’m Silvia and, may I be excused as well?” Silvia asked. The guys nodded she and joined Chelsea where she was waiting for the elevator to arrive. Willow shrugged and examined her nails.

“Aren’t you supposed to go as well?” AJ asked Willow. She glanced up.

“What, are you suggesting that I look terrible as well?” Willow cried out.

“No!” AJ immediately replied, “It’s just that both your friends left so I thought that maybe you would too.”

“Just shut up AJ. You talk too much.” Howie rolled his eyes at AJ.

Willow laughed, “You know, if you guys weren’t so… arrogant yesterday, then maybe I wouldn’t still think that you’re gonna blow up every time I say something wrong!”

“Hi guys.” Kevin greeted them with a friendly smile with Chelsea and Silvia following closely behind. Chelsea and Silvia both looked as if they just stepped out of a magazine. Chelsea, with her tangled ponytail before, was now with her hair set up in a stylish, sophisticated bun with a few occasional strands of hair here and there. She was wearing a blue sleeveless shirt and a short black miniskirt. Silvia’s hair was straight, like Christina Aguilera’s hair style, she had added a few strands of strings in her hair that stood out from her light blonde hair. She was wearing a pair of grey cargo pants and a gray sleeveless shirt.

“Wow, what a change,” AJ noted.

“Pick up your mouth AJ, it’s on the floor,” Brian said.

“Oh really, let me pick it… Brian, my mouth is not on the floor.” AJ replied noting the nothingness except the bare marble tiled floor.

They all laughed. Chelsea sat back in her seat as she heard all the happy chatter and laughter around her, she knew that the day would turn out to be a great day after all.
