Lisa stepped outside wearing very little make up and her hair loosely let down. The wind blew slightly and caused the blue dress to flutter around. Smiling with confidence, she set out to Liza and Nick’s meeting place under a tree in the park nearby.
It was only a 5 minute walk. When she arrived, Nick wasn’t there yet so she hid behind the building. According to her, boys were always early, girls were always late. She loved it when she had guys waiting for her. When Nick appeared, she waited a few more minutes before showing up. The slowly, she walked towards Nick, imitating Liza’s every movement.
“You look beautiful,” was Nick’s greeting.
“Thanks,” Lisa blushed innocently.
“Want to go for a walk on the beach before we go for dinner?” Nick asked.
“Okay,” Lisa lit up. A romantic walk on the beach, watching the sunset. “This is going on more smoothly than I thought it would have,” Lisa thought happily as they hand in hand walked towards the beach.
It was getting dark and stars were starting to twinkle into sight when they arrived. Neither one spoke. Lisa sat down and gazed up at the sky. Nick did as well. He held onto her chin and brought her vision back down from the night sky. He gazed into her eyes intensely as they gradually started to lean forward into a kiss. Suddenly, Nick thought strangely, “Wait a minute, this isn’t Liza!” He immediately shoved Lisa off him.
“What’s wrong? For a minute there, I thought you were enjoying it,” Lisa smiled slyly as she spoke cockily.
“Where’s Liza?” Nick asked furiously, wiping his mouth.
“Don’t worry about her babe,” Lisa pulled Nick closer to her.
Nick flung off her grasp, “Get lost Lisa, you’re not the one I want,” Nick growled.
Lisa looked hurt, “We were both enjoying it, face it. I’m ready for more,” Lisa whispered into Nick’s ear seductively.
“It was like eating mud Lis. I’m leaving,” Nick stood up and brushed the sand off his pants aggressively.
“It’s your loss,” Lisa called from behind as she thought angrily about her plan failing. “Damn it, I was so close,” she tasted her lip. She can still feel Nick’s warm lips on hers.

Once he was out of Lisa’s sight, Nick began to run worriedly towards the Timberlakes’. He was panting heavily when he arrived at the porch. He knocked heavily on the door.
“Okay! What is it?” A very annoyed Mark answered the door. It was the twin’s brother.
“Um, is Liza here?” Nick asked, peering inside the house.
“I thought you went out with her.”
“Never mind, is she here?”
“Does it look like it?” Mark asked back.
“Okay, um, if she comes back, tell her to–” He was interrupted by a loud groan coming from the backyard. Curiously, he looked towards the door to the backyard and found that the door was open. Precariously, he crept towards it, Mark, also interested, followed carefully. When Nick could see the full backyard, he saw that Liza was standing there with a stick in her hand and an unconscious man lying on the damp grass.
“Woah Liz! When did you start taking up judo?” Mark asked as he gaped at the scene.
Liza ready to faint, Nick immediately ran to her and hugged her tightly. “I love you,” he whispered softly into her ear.
“I love you too,” Liza replied right before she collapsed into his arms.
Lisa stood about 4 meters away from the scene as she began to bore a hole into Liza’s back. She was jealous and angry at Lydia for thinking of such a lame plan. Stomping away angrily, she looked away, refusing to see anymore.
Nick shook his head in disapproval as he watched Lisa stomp away. He held Liza in his arms and kissed her lightly on the forehead.
