“What happened?” BJ, Leslie and Angel asked in unison as soon as Christina stepped back into the house.

Ready to sob, Christina collapsed onto BJ’s shoulder. “It was absolutely your worst nightmare! We can’t even be friends! He also knows about Aaron and I… he had a fit! We were okay at first… but that was before I told him about Aaron.”

“Hmm…” BJ thought for a moment, “Usually, if someone likes you and knows that you’re with someone, they’ll a) try to separate you b) object about your relationship or c) try to push you together. Nick is definitely b), definitely…”

“Why didn’t you tell me that you had something going on with Chris?” Nick asked angrily at Aaron once he pulled him out of his parents sight.

“Gee Nick, why do you need to know and why do you know anyway?”

“You don’t need to know okay? Just tell me, what’s going on between you and Christina.” Nick pushed Aaron down on his bed so that he was sitting comfortably in front of Nick.

“Well, we’ve gone out a few times, seen a couple of–”

“Did you guys kiss?” Nick interrupted.

Aaron blushed, “Well, y’know, it’s just, well… yeah.”

Sighing disappointedly, Nick asked, “How did you guys happen?”

“Well, BJ set us up… sort of anyway. Remember that day when BJ called you and asked you to go shopping with Christina, BJ, and I? Well, you cancelled so quickly, we were at the mall already! BJ bumped into a guy that she had a crush on and he invited her to go with them and she did. That left me and Chris alone and we just sort of clicked,” Aaron shrugged, “After that time, we were already really good with each other.”

Sighing once again, Nick realized that he was practically the one that pushed Aaron and Christina together. “Wait a minute,” Nick thought, “Why am I thinking like this? Does this mean that I’ve already fallen for her? It can’t be.” But at that moment, Nick already knew that he had fallen in love with Christina, and he fell bad, it was just something that he couldn’t ignore.

“Nick, honey. It’s so late already, why don’t you stay here tonight? Besides dad and I are going out to visit a friend so we won’t be here all day. Around nine in the morning till about ten at night. So you can leave tomorrow when we come home, kay?” Jane asked Nick.

Nick sulked. Another day of watching the two lovebirds. “Kay mom, whatever.”

“Great honey, go and grab some sleep now.” Jane kissed Nick on the forehead and waved him upstairs.

“G’ night mom.”

“Night Nick.”
