Jane sat in the front seat and peeked at Christina with the corner of her eye while trying to concentrate on the road at the same time. Christina’s sudden outburst had surprised her and right now, Jane wasn’t sure that she should say anything. Aaron sat beside her, scared to approach Christina. Christina stared out the window and didn’t say anything. Her expression showed pure hatred.

An hour later, they had pulled up onto the driveway of the Carter household. Christina unbuckled her seatbelt as slowly as she could as she watched Jane Carter scurry to the trunk to grab her suitcases.

“I’m sorry Mrs. Carter… I, I was in a bad mood, I’m sorry I took it out on you and Aaron.” Christina got out of the vehicle. Jane Carter looked up.

“It’s okay. I’m sure that something bad happened and you if don’t want to tell me what then it’s totally fine,” she continued to pull out Christina’s suitcases out of the trunk, “Now go before I tell you to help me with these,” she looked up in time to see Christina run into the house with Aaron.

“Hey, Christina,” BJ Carter lay on her stomach on her bed, “What happened anyway? Aaron told me you were crying when they picked you up.”

“Yeah, what happened?” Leslie nudged Christina, interested. All four of them, BJ, Leslie, Angel, and Christina were in BJ’s room talking.

“Well… I’d rather not say,” Christina reddened, “It’s kinda embarrassing…” Christina trailed off only to lure the three girl’s interest more.

“Then I gotta know.” BJ grinned, “Was it something Nick did?”

“No…” Christina stood up from her place on the bed, “But in a way… yes, I guess…”

“That doesn’t really tell us anything.”

“Then you don’t have to know.” Christina gazed out the window avoiding BJ, Leslie, and Angel’s desperate expressions.

“Come on, we won’t tell anyone…” Angel pleaded.

After another 10 minutes of pleading, Christina finally gave in. She told them what had happened in the car, what Nick had done. Christina waited nervously for their response.

“Woah… I always knew Nick was horny but aren’t you a bit too young for him?” Leslie said in amazement.

“I know… what should I do now? I mean, I really want to stay as friends with Nick but then after what has happened, I don’t know how to face him anymore. I mean, I’m barely a teenager and I have a guy that’s nearly out of his teens already, uh… kissing… me.” Christina sighed and took a deep breath.

“Age doesn’t really matter, but you like him too right?” BJ questioned Christina.

“HELLO?! I’m a fan here! Of course I do!” Christina laughed. But her happiness faded almost as abrupt as it started when she thought about her situation with Nick. “But it’s only a kiss on the cheek… I mean… it could be a good night kiss, right?”

“Yeah right Chris, it was barely six in the evening and he’s kissing you good night? Get real Chris.” BJ said sarcastically.

“What was your point anyway?” Angel asked BJ.

“Do you care about the age in a romance?” BJ continued ignoring Angel.

“Not exactly… as long as I can communicate with the guy… y’know… understand him. It really depends on who it is though. Why?”

“Oh nothing.” BJ grinned and wondered if there was any plan to pull Nick and Christina together.
