“What gate number?” Anna asked, looking around. She and Christina had arrived in the airport. Anna had to help Christina walk because she was jumping of excitement.
“Um… I don’t know,” Christina confessed sheepishly.
“What? What do you mean, ‘you don’t…’” she trailed off when she heard a clear scream from behind them at a gate. “Never mind, I think I know which gate they’re at.” She grinned and led the way.
Christina smiled happily as she saw Nick. But her happiness immediately faded when she saw Nick hug a girl that she didn’t know. She became more upset when she saw Nick kiss her lightly on the cheek. She leaned back against the wall, her eyes watery and tears ready to spill out any minute.
Anna gaped unbelievably at the scene that was opening in front of them, “And you tell me he was upset? He’s gotten over you already! Trust me girl, I congratulate you for dumping him,” she said with anger in her voice, “Just let me get over there and let him taste my knuckles.” She rolled up her sleeves and got ready to stomp over there and give Nick a piece of her mind (or her fist… *hehe*)
“Don’t,” Christina sobbed quietly, grasping onto Anna’s sleeve, unwilling to let go.
“But Chris!” She flung off Christina’s grip, “How can you be so calm when that,” she pointed over to Nick, “Is happening?” She cried out angrily. People started to look over to their direction.
“Shut up!” Christina screamed, “Just shut up!”
Nick looked over to see what the commotion was all about, “Is that Chris?” He thought to himself. He started to walk towards her.
“Nick! Yo Nick! Where’re you going?” Brian asked, putting his hand on Nick’s shoulder, “We gotta go.”
“Um, thought I saw Chris, that’s all.”
“You okay?”
“Yeah, let’s go,” Nick entered the gate looking back, to catch a glimpse of Christina turning away.

“Can you believe it? I mean, he’s like smoooooooooch,” Anna imitated Nick’s actions at the airport with a pillow. She hugged onto it tightly and kissed it.
“Anna, I’m already really depressed, do you have to rub in?” Christina took her hands away from her ears.
“Chris, Chris, Chris. You’ve got to forget about Nick. Go get yourself into shape so you have some hot guys going for you and you’ll have Nick off your mind immediately. I mean, how long have you guys been together? Like, 2 weeks?”
“And 2 days.”
Anna rolled her eyes, “Whatever! Do you know how many hours and minutes and seconds you guys have been together?”
“Actually,” Christina glanced down at her watch, “Yeah, 2 weeks, 2 days, and 15 hours 19 minutes… seconds… no idea.”
“Oh my God Chris! You seriously need to know some other guys,” Anna stared at her incredulously. Christina shrugged and laid back on the sofa in Anna’s house.

“Wanna talk?” Brian asked as he and Nick settled down in their seats.
“About what?” Nick asked, staring out the window with a depressed expression on his face.
“You know! About Chris and everything.”
“No,” Nick replied stubbornly, but a few minutes later, he said, “I think I saw her at the airport.”
“Are you sure? I mean, I thought you said that she broke up with you because you’re going away on tour. Why would she be here now?” Brian asked.
“I don’t know! I’m so confused now!” Nick cried out in exasperation.
“Well, who knows? She maybe sorry that she broke up with you. Or it may not be Chris at all. Call her when we land and ask her.” Brian suggested.
“Yeah, I’ll do that,” Nick said as he stared back out the window, into the clouds and down, down, down, below, somewhere, Christina was there.
