Nick and Brian arrived at the airport. Brian glanced at Nick, “Why don’t we check in first Nick? Then I’ll walk you to the gate?” Brian offered generously.

“It’s okay Bri, I can take care of myself, you can leave if you want to,” Nick smiled and started walking to the counter.

“Okay, whatever. Just don’t blame me if you come back bald because you got mobbed and your fans pulled your hair out,” Brian joked.

“Bri! You know I have nightmares about furry creatures under my bed! Besides, the fans will mob you too!” Nick laughed.

“Ooh, the return of Nick’s hair!”

Nick just laughed. Brian was his best friend because he cared so much about him and didn’t treat him like a little kid. And he always had a fun sense of humor. As Nick approached the desk, the young woman behind it gasped, “You are…”

“Shh… Don’t tell anyone,” Nick put his index finger to his lips indicating that he didn’t want a big scene to be caused.

“Okay,” she smiled and started weighing Nick’s luggage. All the time she kept staring at him, when she was finished, she handed him a piece of paper and a pen to him and Brian. They signed it knowingly.

“Thanks,” Nick grinned and winked at her as he left the desk with Brian.

“Gee Nick, can I ask you something that has been bothering me for the last few minutes?” Brian asked strangely.

“What?” Nick replied, glancing behind him to see if the girl was still looking their way.

“Where did you learn how to make that weird expression to that girl?”

“Huh?” “Can’t you tell?” Nick said in exasperation.

“Did you pick that up from A.J.’s book of 100 lame ways to get a girl? Because I’m telling you, it doesn’t work. I think it’s kind of scaring the chicks off as well.”

“Thanks a lot, nah, I can’t believe I even did that. I’m so in love with Chris,” Nick told himself aloud.

“If you can do that to any girl, than I don’t think that you’re ‘so in love’ with Chris anymore.”

“No, I’m like, a hundred percent per cent sure that I’m in love with Chris. Wait a minute,” Nick halted and held out his arm to stop Brian as well, “Where are we walking to anyway?”

“Huh? I thought you knew!” Brian exclaimed.

“No I don’t, let me see…” Nick glanced at his boarding pass, it was gate 91, they were walking towards gate 1, “Shit, wrong way.”

“Great, now I walked all this way for nothing.”

“Okay, Bri, it’s not like it’s gonna take us hours to get to the gate,” Nick replied looking around to see if there was anyone to help them get to the gate, “Hey um, can you help me?” He asked a man that was cleaning the floor, “Can you tell me how long it takes to walk to gate 91 from here?”

“Woah son, it’s gonna take you at least 45 minutes from here!” The janitor exclaimed as he got back to work.

“Um, okay, thanks,” Nick thanked the man and exclaimed quietly to himself, “45 minutes???”

“Not an hour huh?” Brian grinned and he crossed his arms across his chest.

“So you coming with me?” Nick asked casually. He really wanted Brian to come but he didn’t want to express it like he was pleading him.

“Yeah,” Brian replied attempting to drape his arm over Nick’s shoulders.

“I think it will be better this way,” Nick let out a small laugh as he took Brian’s arm off his shoulders and draped his arm over Brian’s shoulders as they made their way to the gate.

(Author’s Note: I think you know why Brian can’t drape his arm over Nick’s shoulders… if you don’t know… WHAT KIND OF A FAN ARE YOU??? hehe… j/k lol, *height*)
