Precious was sitting in her desk, tapping her pencil, she continued mourning about the French book and all , when her phone rang. Answering it with the most pitiful voice ever, her friend Eve asked if she was studying Maths.
“This time French...” she answered back.
“That doesn’t matter, you’re not doin’ any good at it either”
Just two weeks had passed since she’s started her ‘world ‘.And already she had made several friends whom she got very close. Maybe it was her sincerity or the students’ hospitality that helped.
“Ready for the appointment?”
“So, so...I’m still not sure about this at all...”
Evelyn, or in short, Eve, was her best friend in Orlando. She was her helper through many things like dealing with the new teachers, meeting with lots of cool peeps, and now she drew her inside a modelling agency she was doing modelling for..
“To be honest Eve, i don’t really long to be a model” she continued.
“But your parents let!”
“I know but...”
“But what? After all, this is just a beginning Prec, it ‘s just a beginning...”
“I know but...”
“And I know you’ve always wanted to be in front of camera, don’t ya?”
“You’re right but...”
“I know I’m right and this will be...”
“ Eve! Would you shut up for a minute and let me speak???”
“Kay, listening”
“Sorry Eve, I’m just nervous, I guess. I have this ridiculous feeling that my life gonna change...like it hadn’t” she added painfully.
“Hey bud, don’t be sad...it’s not that bad and you’ll like it...about your life...hmmm i guess you must be thankful, gal, you have lots of friends and you’re about to have a cool job and all..”
“I know, i’m lucky but what if they don’t like me? I feel like they won’t like me...”
“Girl, i know how you exactly feel but don’t worry, they’ll definetely like you. They’re really nice, your fears will vanish when you got to meet them”
“Thanx Eve...i dunno what i would do if you weren’t here for me”
“Anytime girl...we’re best friends, don’t forget that”
“Yup. Bye bye”
“Bye”
