Just one week had passed and everybody could see the alteration.. She was more confident and optimist as well as being apparent on her feelings. But that doesn’t change her thoughts for Jason. She hated him.

“It was just that I popped into a totally new life.” She was thinking to herself.

“Don’t forget, at 4:30! Be there, right on time!” Eve’s yell grazed Precious from her thoughts.

“Don’t worry!” she shouted back as she headed to her bus.

It was tough week as usual. Photo shoots for several mags, fashion shows, besides all of that her school...Her popularity started increasing which made Scott and Mr.Mitchell a lot happier. On the way home, she decided to call her parents. She hadn’t spoken with them for about three week or so. How easygoing people they were. “I couldn’t have known them that well...” she thought when she got out of the bus. Wouldn’t have any parent wonder their only one daughter in a totally new world? But they wouldn’t have. Her parents wouldn’t have.

“Hey mom how are u doin’?” she said happily when her mom answered the phone.

“ Oh Precious, I’m fine thanx, how about you darlin’?”

“ Why didn’t you call me at least once?” she promptly wanted to know the truths cos she had a small amount of time before going out and she couldn’t waste her time with her mom’s excuses.

“Oh honey you know how busy we are...we don’t have any time...”

“Oh yeah, sorry mom, you work very hard that you don’t have any time to sleep, eat, you only work work work so you don’t even have a hint of time to call your daughter” she said defiantly when she was thumping through her clothes.

“ Precious, we work so hard for ya, it isn’t that easy to raise a child in US... ” her mom said.

“ Oh you think you’re raising me right here in Tampa huh? So you have magical powers that you could see me through your magical sphere? I’m not a child anymore, I know the toughness of working cos I’m working, too! But you have no fucking idea about it!” she hadn’t realized but she was yelling her lungs off.

“You can’t speak with me like that...” her mom was angry.

“Oh, then take care of me and teach me how to speak with adults!”

“Precious, please...”

“Oh but sorry mom, you don’t have any time to waste with me so i shouldn’t have taken you so long on the phone!” with the last yell she clicked the red button and threw the cordless phone away. Collapsing to the floor, she placed her head in her hands. She wasn’t crying, she was exasperated. “ Damn! It’s all of their business...they’re losing me, i have Aylin and Erdal.” Then she continued thumping through her clothes.

One hour later, already had forgotten the bad thoughts, she was running down the streets to reach the mall on time. But, like everytime, she was late. She had her baggy cargo jeans, a ping tank top and her fisherman hat she had bought from Disnep and her Nike trainers to run well if anything would cause them trouble. Like last week, she had run into a pyramid of canned food and knocked them all over the floor. They had to run real fast to escape from the directors.

She stomped up the marble stairs and found three of her best friends giving her the most furious looks.

“ We don’t even need to ask where you have been. Count all your excuses!” Kat said calmly.

“Will you let me breath?” Precious asked as she waited till her breath come back to normal.

“Well... this time girls it was all mischance. Believe me! Bus broke down...” she continued smiling devilishly.

“Did you do sth for it?” asked Janine also smiling devilishly.

“Actually, no. But two cars were about to run into me and i crushed into some old lady and helped to carry her bags as a sorry, these were the other accidents i’ve got over for the..” she glanced her watch. “..past forty-five minutes” she smiled proudly.

“Ok, it’s proved that you’re the biggest clumsy from birth.” Eve added. Their anger was vanished. “Will you let us to finsh this day without any more mischances?”

“We’ll wait and see” she grinned.

“Girls...” she whined when she saw them entering in a shop.

“No!” they yelled in unison.

“ Precious you’re always doing this when we went out for cloth shopping!”

“ But i hate it...”

“ We won’t let you to wear this funky jeans tonight!”

“ How did you know i’ll wear these?”

“ Just guessed. You’re always doin’ this...”

“Doin’ what?”

“Never mind!”

“ So I can go to the music store”

“NO!” was the last thing the girls said Precious about the shopping thing, and she had to follow them through all the shops cos she had no chance left since they were still angry to her being late, always hanging by herself and all. They were right, in fact, she should have spent much time with them.
