Post-mortem updates:
Someone added us to Last.fm
Some of us are in a band called
the State Lottery.
The Gibbons were a punk band from Detroit that played between 2001
and 2006. We had a lot of great times, met a lot of people,
and got a first hand look at what people are doing to make their
communities better places. For records and contact info, see below.
These people/bands/entities deserve a special thanks for being
directly involved in vital stuff: Marco, Shawn Quinn,Josh Quinn,
Norm Andresen, Erik Ladendorf, North Lincoln, Caulfield, Frame,
Tina Dykehouse, Andy Fizzle, Blackbird Suite, Whiskey Diaries,
Attack of the..., Ridgemont, Original Invasion, Kevin and Paul McCoy,
the Trumbullplex, Karate for Kids, Lemuria, One Reason, Dom Armao,
Dave Bearling, and everyone who ever helped us with a show or a
place to stay on tour.
Complete Show List (Quite a bit of this was done from memory,
so sorry if a show or band was forgotten, it was accidental.)

Salinas Records (linked below) carries all this, and has a list of distros
that do as well.
Split 7" with North Lincoln (Salinas, May, 2006)
-----------The last songs we'll ever record. We have three, they have two. It's for Michigan.
"Hope, inc." CD (Salinas, January 1, 2005)
-----------Our first full length. The songs are more political and more aggressive
(dare I say, more mature?) than earlier stuff. Easily our favorite songs.
Erik recorded it, and it has a cleaner sound than previous recordings.
"Hope, inc." LP (Salinas/Grateful, March 2005)
-----------Same as the CD but it's on vinyl. There are some corrections in the
liner notes and the artwork is a bit different.
"The Gibbons" 7" (Salinas/Neon Boombox Records, March 11, 2004) *OUT OF PRINT*
-----------Our first solo release. Four old songs rerecorded, but some of our favorites
that we never released. Recorded with longtime partner Erik Ladendorf,
it is an accurate representation of us over our first few years of existence.
"The War on Terrorism" 4-Way split 7" (Salinas Records, December 19, 2003)
-----------The Gibbons, Megan Kott, Caulfield and Mumbler get global, each
contributing one song about the current political situation.
Split CDEP with Caulfield (Storm Records, February 1, 2003)
-----------4 songs from each band, recorded at 40 oz. studio in Ann Arbor.
Demo Tape (Fall, 2001)
-----------Our first release. 4 songs.
T-Shirts
-----------Mail us a shirt (email us (below) to get an address), and we'll screen it for
you. It's the building on the cover of "Hope Inc.".
