Ever since Half Pin left Immature people begen to ask questions. But lately
fans started wondering more and more about him. So I desided to let everybody
know what happened with Half Pin and Immature.
The three original members of Immature are Marques "Batman" Houston, Jerome
"Romeo" Jones, and Don "Half Pint" Santos. They all went to the same school
and entered in a talent show as a group. There they got descovered and
signed on to Hook Management. Don, Marques, and Jerome's parents wern't too
sure about all this. I mean, they were only 8 and 9 years old. Do they even
know what they're getting themselves into? All three families were a little
worried but suportive. So at the end they desided to give it a shot.
They signed a contract with Virgin Records and in 1992 released their first
album "On Our Wort Behaviour."
They started going on the road, preforming in clubs, on stage infront of
hundreds of people. Don's parents started to kind of worry, he was on the
road so much. He was missing school, started to spened less time with his
family and friends. They didn't have much of a choice but they had to get
tutors to come on the road with them.
Don's parents were very stricked about school and did not believe in tutors.
They tried to compremize, to be fair and understanding. But it just didn't
work out. They desided to take him out of the group.
It was very disupointing for everyone. But they had no choice. So they had
to start looking for a new member to take his place. And that's how L.D.B.
came into the picture. He was the drumer and about the same age as Jerome
and marques. He still played the drums but now he was in the spotlight
with them.
There have also been other rumors why Don left the group.
-He was Philippino and his parents were moving back to the Philippines and
that's why he had to quite the group.
-He didn't like going on the road so much and being away from home for a
long time.
You have to understaned, he was only 9 years old. There are so many things
that could have lead to him quiting the band. And his parents did what they
thought was in his best intrest.
They probably stayed in touch with eachother. But he is not rejoining the
group or anything like that.
