Perez Prado CDs with Maynard Ferguson

PEREZ PRADO, HAVANA 3 A.M. -- RCA BMG 2444-2-RL

Maynard played with the Perez Prado Orchestra on an LP called Havana 3 A.M., recorded back in February and March of 1956. Here's that LP in digitally remastered CD format from 1990. You can hear Maynard blasting away on the top through many of the tunes! Great Latin jazz from one of the major eras for this genre.
COPY #1. This copy has a slight variation in catalog number. It's BL2-2444. Otherwise, it appears identical to 2444-2-RL. For all practical purposes, even though this CD is no longer in shrink wrap, it's in MINT condition. Just to be safe, let's call it NMINT++. Like new, it's $11.00.

Maynard played with the Perez Prado Orchestra on an LP called Havana 3 A.M., recorded back in February and March of 1956. Here's that LP, along with the Mambo Mania LP, together on a single CD on the German Bear Family label. This one comes with an incredible booklet insert that lists the tunes, discographical information, and extensive biographical information on Prado. It's a beautifully packaged, crystal clear rendering of these two great LPs, and you can hear Maynard blasting away on the top through many of the tunes! Great Latin jazz from one of the major eras for this genre.

Maynard played with the Perez Prado Orchestra on an LP called Voodoo Suite, recorded back on 4/8/54. Maynard played on all four movements of Voodoo Suite. Here's that LP, along with the Exotic Suite of the Americas LP, together on a single CD on the German Bear Family label. This one comes with an incredible booklet insert that lists the tunes, discographical information, and extensive biographical information on Prado. It's a beautifully packaged, crystal clear rendering of these two great LPs, and you can hear Maynard blasting away on the top through many of the tunes!
