SWR Big Band CDs with Maynard Ferguson

Here's a two-CD set in a unique, custom CD case, direct off the plane from Germany. I really don't know the full background on this, but apparently, while MF was wandering about Germany in 1968/1969 recording such discs as the Maynard & Gustav LP, he played a concert with the SWR Big Band, and it made it to tape. (If any of you German collectors can read the liner notes, and give me some more details, I'll be glad to share them with everyone.) There are two tracks with MF: Take the "A" Train and Somewhere (from West Side Story), both recorded in November, 1969. I had never heard these versions before!!! The CD case is just superbly crafted, and there are extensive liner notes in a German-language booklet that's enclosed. Each copy seems to have a unique copy number inscribed on back, so it's undoubtedly a limited edition set. Grab one while you can.
