The Assasination of Prefect Caesar

2478.123.-The civil war rages on. The last major obstacle to Adjutant Adamus'
domination of the warring factions are the Malnino party led by Prefect Caesar.
Although lower in commision the Prefect has a strong force and following driven
by his desire to reshape his people in a mold of peace. Numerous parties are divided
by the opposite philosophies. Many Adjutant's loathe Caesar's attempt to
pacify the warrior nature that has been present in the Amaru since the beginning
of time. Even his close friend, and second in command, Judicator Brutus.
Caesar's forces are too strong to attack directly, and his allies outnumber the Shakur
so Adamus conceives another plan.
2478.185.-Adjutant Adamus secretly meets with Judicator Brutus. Seeing no other 
alternative for his party Brutus agrees to Adamus's plan.
2478.191.-While in route to inspect his defense garrisons well within Malnino space,
Prefect Caesar's shuttle is attacked and destroyed by four Shakurian gunboats. It
is later made public that Brutus re-called the Prefect's escort and relayed it's 
entire flightplan to the Shakur.
2478.202.-Many Malnino commanders defect, alliances falter. Command system in chaos.
Malnino now engaged by Shakur on all fronts.
2478.291.-After fierce internal strife, their colonies invaded, and planets pillaged,
the Malnino party unconditionally surrender. The remaining factions are swallowed up
by Adamus's forces. Hostilities end.
2478.365.-The Commonwealth is formed, at his coronation for his new title of Warlord,
Adamus has Brutus dis-embowled and crucified as an example of how treachery would
be dealt with under the new regime.
