Frosty Snowmen

All Purpose Four with Wheat Bran..........800 mL
Quick Rise Instant Yeast..................8 g or 15 mL
sugar.....................................50 mL
grated orange rind........................15 mL
salt......................................2 mL
orange juice..............................50 mL
2% milk, divided..........................175 mL
margarine.................................50 mL
egg, lightly beaten.......................1 egg
icing sugar, sifted.......................500 mL
raisins, chocolate chips and mixed candied fruit and peel

Reserve 1 cup (250 mL) flour. Mix remaining flour, yeast, sugar, orange rind and salt in large bowl. Heat orange juice, 1/2 cup (125 mL) milk and margarine until very warm. Stir into dry ingredients. Beat in egg. Mix in enough reserved flour to make a soft dough that does not stick to bowl.

Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. Cover; let rest 10 minutes. For snowmen bodies, shape 2/3 of dough into 9 smooth 2" (5 cm) balls. For heads, shape remaining dough into 9 smooth 1" (2.5 cm) balls. On greased baking sheets, assemble snowmen, using one large and one small ball of dough for each; place 2" (5cm) appart. Cover; let rise until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.

Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from sheets to wire rack. Cool completely.

Frosting: Combine icing sugar with remaining milk; stir until smooth. Frost snow men and add other ingrediants (bottom of list) for eyes, nose, buttons, mouths, etc, as you like.
