You may have seen my old page, which received over 30,000 hits in 1994-1995...it had an old picture of me near the top:

Also, a quick explanation of the rainbow...the rainbow is a symbol of pride used by the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender ("lesbigaytr") community. I like it because it also expresses diversity and the beauty of God's presence in the world after the bleak, rainy times.

This home page is dedicated to my spiritual call in life: being a lesbian transsexual religious advocate and minister. This doesn't mean that I am called to a "queer-only" ministry, but that my gifts are specially dedicated to proclaiming God's all-inclusive love to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people who too often are told that God's love doesn't extend to us and to who we are.

I am an ordained minister in the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches. We are a Christian denomination that welcomes all people and has a special ministry of affirmation to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community. I serve on the staff of MCC San Jose in San Jose, California as Scholar in Residence.

As far as my theological education (we won't go into my gazillion other degrees), I received my Master of Divinity from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California in May, 1997.
