A timeline by Daly

They used to be a normal group....now they are teenybopper material and it's a disgrace to like them. Here's how it happened.

Early 1990's

Jeff Timmons goes out to L.A. to form a singing group. Despite revolving members, he sticks with it. Soon the other members are Nick and Drew Lachey and Justin Jeffre. They are discoved singing backstage at a Boyz II Men concert. Etc.

1996

1998

"True to Your Heart" with Stevie Wonder. What a range! From adult to Disney. Alas, if only virgin ears could hear "Can I Touch You There". However, no one really remembers it was them with "Invisible Man" and they have yet to land the mass market, teenyboppers.
"Because of You"- Shot in our hometown, San Francisco! Along with the beach scene in wifebeaters, it seals the teenymarket

1999

Snowed In- Meltdown to 98°. Mtv has accepted them! We are so proud!
"The Hardest Thing". My only qualm(is that a word?)is that this is not their best song. However, they are mostly known for this.
*BOYBAND ALERT* Total Request Live- Announce the coming of a book, a home video, and a Christmas album. NOOOOOOOOOO. Hello? Anyone ever heard of 'N Sync: The Official Book, 'N Sync- 'N the Mix (home video), 'N Sync- Home for Christmas?
Subject of many guest appearences- Donny and Marie (cringe), General Hospital, Making the Video. Very popular boys!
Christmas album, book, and video realeased. The end is near!

2001

Spring- Release 4th album. Sales ok, 1 hit single, a few ok ones.
Summer- Oh no! Tastes in music have changed! (Thank God, no more Britney Spears)and Blink 182 and other alternative bands rule the charts. People are sick of pop and boybands. Alas, 98 degrees was classified in this group and now not as "in demand". Still, a fall tour is lined up and in December they release their 5th album
December- 98 degrees- Keepin It Hot is released. It is ignored, a la Face the Music (an NKOTB title)They are done for and decide to head into different careers

Nick- A scandal involving 2 prostitutes. Does 100 hours of community service.

2005

Pop music returns! 98 dregrees, in their 30's, tries for a comeback. Making sure it's ok with the law and Nick's "predicament", but damn! all of their singles don't match up to Josh Chasez "The New Elton John" or The Justin and Britney Bunch.

2007

All decide to give it up. They arn't 20 anymore, why bother? Instead, Justin marries a girl from Ohio, both Lachey brothers fall a beautiful actress named Daly, and, even though it's illegal in all 50 states, she takes them both. Jeff finds the girl of his dreams, a pediatrician named Justine. All live happily ever after....
