First I would like to suggest using another type of browser instead of aol's. Simply because aol sucks. It compresses images making them look crummy and washed out.
But if not then try this:
1.Go to My AOL.
2. Go to Preferences.
3. Click the WWW icon.
4. Go to Web Graphics.
5. Unclick the "Use Compressed Graphics box"(If it's unclicked then leave it alone).
6. Click OK
And that's it!
