SITE AT WORK

The Roger Bacon High School Percussion Program is comprised of several interrelated parts. The marching percussion program performs with the Roger Bacon High School Band of Spartans during the fall in several different circuits. Within the last few years, the band has competed in OMEA, BOA, and . MidStates Marching Band Circuit. During the winter months, the percussion program competes in the OMEA solo and ensemble contest. Private lessons are also offered to the members of the percussion program. Awards During the past two years, the Roger Bacon High School Percussion program has won numerous awards and recognition. In May of 1998, the band was invited to perform in the Victory Day celebrations in Moscow, Russian Federation. Along with this honor, the percussion section has won numerous awards at various competitions, including the high percussion honor, and a superior rating, at Lockland High School in 1998 and four "superior" ratings at the solo and ensemble contest in 1999.
