YOUTH BASEBALL
Registration begins Feb. 10 until divisions are full.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of baseball. Baseball is a wonderful program for the youngsters who are building their skills and abilities on the field. Players will enjoy the safe and friendly environment where they can play with new and old friends. Teams typically practice and play two afternoons a week on scheduled days. Regardless of ability, everyone will be assigned to a team and have the opportunity to play

There are 5 different divisions that are broken down according to age.

T-BALL: 5 to 6
5 PITCH: 7 to 8
MINORS: 9 to 10
MAJORS: 11 to 12
JUNIORS: 13 to 15

Evaluations Dates and Times
Saturday, March 21th, 2009

T-Ball at 9:30 AM
Pee Wee at 11:00 AM
Minors at 12:30 PM
Majors at 2:00 PM
Juniors at 3:30 PM

FEE for the youth baseball program is $60.00 for all divisions.
Fee includes Uniform, trophy, umpires fees and administrative costs.

WINTER BASKETBALL
Registration begins Nov. 4 and will continue until divisions are full.

The basketball program provides children and youth a healthy and fun opportunity to participate in comprehensive basketball leagues. Our leagues will give the participants an opportunity to focus their energy and skills on playing basketball. Teamwork on the court provides a wonderful experience for any youth to be a part of a team environment where team spirit, communications, and cooperation are all needed to play the game. These leagues give the youth the chance to focus their energy and skills on a sport they love to watch and play.

There are 5 different divisions that are broken down according to age.

MIGHTY MITES: 5 to 6 years old
PEE WEES: 7 to 8 years old
MINORS: 9 to 10 years old
MAJORS: 11 to 12 years old
JUNIORS: 13 to 15 years old

Evaluations Dates and Times
Mighty Mites: Sat., Dec. 6 at 9:00AM
Pee Wees: Sat., Dec. 6 at 10:00 AM.
Minors: Sat., Dec. 6 at 12:00 PM.
Majors: Sat., Dec. 6 at 1:30 PM.
Juniors: Sat., Dec. 6 at 3:00 PM.

FEE for the youth basketball program is $TBA for all divisions.
Fee includes Jersey, shorts, and trophy.
Coaches meeting: December 12, 2007 @ 6:30PM

GIRLS PLAY SOFTBALL
Registration begins March 15
League begins April 5th through June 21, 2008

Juniors only! Ages 13-15 as of 1/1/2008

FEE: $15

Includes uniform with reversal jersey, official's fees, award and team photos.
Traveling to various sites may be required.

Girls Sports Day - April 12, 2008
Softball Extravaganza - June 28 & 29, 2008

Monday to Friday: 10 AM to 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10 AM to 4 PM
Sunday: 11 AM to 4 PM

All division age groups are as of January 1st, 2009.

Entire fee must be paid at the time of registration. Partial payments will not be accepted. Payment by check or money order ONLY. Please make checks payable to: L.A. City Dept. of Recreation and Parks or City of Los Angeles. A $35 fee for any returned checks.

Lincoln Park Recreation Center is striving to become one of the best sports program in the city, we would like you to be part of it. If you like sports and would like to coach a team, WE WANT YOU!
