WHAT DOES LOVE MEAN
Have you ever sat and wondered ,What does love mean....
Have you ever tried to find love and it was unseen
I have spent many a time , in thought and in prayer
To try and understand why , to me it was not there
Now as i reach an age of more maturity
I think i can understand and now begin to see
That Love means different things to each and everyone
And it can come in many forms, and come in anyone
Love lies in the heart and grows a flower rare
It comes from hope and then, is nourished by our prayer
Sometimes it's big and fills our hearts with awe
Somtimes its small and hard to find, it seems there is no law
We have a picture in our minds of how love will come about
I know i do but seldom see and i begin to doubt
Then i have a time of grace and i can see love clearly
It shows in all the kindness done by those who love so dearly
It's not a feeling that's the thing, only lasts a while
Love is an attitude of grace and can start with just a smile
It is a moment shared by two where each can bare their soul
And feel the other one just knows how to make them whole
It can heal a broken heart and mend a spirit's wings
Love can build a bridge between all things
Love does not bring pain , people do that it seems
Love makes life worth while and gives birth to our dreams
And so my friend i give my hand and take yours into mine
Lets love each other and all we meet and grow something fine
