NEVER AGAIN!
I decide what I do, who I help, who I love. Yes, I have turned away from the control of my black-hearted kindred, and now I am a defender of the Kingdom of Dragondale.
Syntania, or Syn, as she's more widely known as, was born 5,469 years ago to Lilith, Adam's first wife, and current Queen of Hell. Syn's father, a human man, is unknown. Syn started her life under the tutelage of her mother, learning the succubus' skills of seduction, as well as magic: illusion, charm, mental, and the most powerful; portal magic. as a demon, she has a mastery of fire magic naturally, making her immune. She soon pursued a life of a succubus; corrupting the souls of unfortunate men through seduction and the committal of the carnal sin of lust. Because of her demonic nature, over three-quarters of those men died afterwards, and went straight to Hell. During the course of this, Syn bore 312 children.
But, her life took a tragic turn, when her children conspired with Satan to sell her into slavery, in exchange for a small bit of power. Syn spent the next 2,000 years of degradation and humiliation as Satan's personal whore, on occasion lending her out to those he favored. Because of her knowledge of portals, however, she would be able to escape occasionally to the surface, which she preferred to life in Hell. It was on one of these excursions that she met Rogue Devilsword, whom she had known previously when he had visited Satan's palace, and she had been lent to him for "entertainment". During the course of their conversation, she told him of her wish for her freedom. He revealed to her that he had Satan's daughter in his possession, and if she so wished, he would exchange Satan's daughter (but only her body; he kept the soul) for her freedom, asking nothing in return. She accepted, and was finally free.
She soon discovered that being truly free was not as wonderful as it seemed. Becuase of what she had done, she could not and would not return to Hell, so she lived on the surface, staying in a room she had made in lLimbo. She soon discovered that, without the inherent evil nature of living in Hell, her human half began to emerge, giving her something new to deal with: a conscience. She found herself performing acts of kindness, caring, and friendship, all of which she was not prepared for.
Then came the worse trial of all-
love.
She found herself falling in love with the vampire Etemenanki, and with itcame inner turmoil.
She was confused by these new feelings, and became prone toirrationality. She decided to embrace the new feelings, and pursued the object of heraffections. However, Etemenanki ultimately chose someone else, and even though it broke her heart, she tried to bear it silently. He knew how much his choice hurt her, and was not without caring for her, so he used a wishstone she had given him to create a duplicateof himself, one who loved her. This duplicate took the name Geliebter, or Gel, for short.
Then, several weeks later, she had an attack of stupidity, and challenged Knife Sara to a battle, one of which she lost. She was killed, Dark Reaver was stolen, and she spent several months in Hell, until her form was strong enough to make it to the surface. She took the body of a recently deflowered maiden who was born illegitimately during the alignment of a constellation known as the "hellgate". Now, the effects of being in Hell for that length of time has taken their toll.....
About Syn
Syn is, by nature, a chaotic being. It is hard to say just what she will do or say next. She has known to be rude or charming, lascivious or ladylike, mischevious, cynical, funny, insulting, sometimes downright comical. She has a love of music and beauty. She even has a romantic side. She is most definitely an extrovert. She is a coward, preferring to hide or disappear rather than fight, as she is not good at it.
She does carry a black leather whip, with razor-sharp hooked barbs in the tail, which act as a sawing effect, as well as a Hellsword named "Dark Reaver", made of Adamony, a black adamantium alloy, which burns with Hellfire, an energy that is half magical fire, half dark energy.
She has also decided to learn the arts of dark healing, which is the only form of healing that will affect dark creatures. The healing process tends to be EXTREMELY painful for both healer and injured, however, seeing that dark magic exacts a price, as is it's nature. She also knows charm and illusion magics, as well as teleportation and portal spells. She has recently perfected a spell that allows her to split into two individuals.
As of late, she has become more or less the regular bartender at the Nameless Tavern in Dragondale City, and her latest project is the creation of the Dimension Hub, which is nothing more than a series of permanent portals to different dimensions and times, located within her home in Limbo. She has also begun mapping these dimensions, and has become quite knowledgeable about them.
A note from Syn's creator....
Out of all of my many Online RPG characters, Syn has been the most interesting and challenging to play. It is almost as if I gave her life, and she took it from there. Even I don't know what she'll do until she does it. I can see parts of me in her, but we are quite different. Playing Syn has opened up a new door for me, and I hope that she will continue to grow and change. I'm curious myself to see what she will eventually become, considering her duality....if she doesn't get herself killed first....
well, as of this revision, Syn has gotten herself killed, and resurrected, so it's time to see what the effects of time in Hell have on her..
