Why a page dedicated to an old hotel on skid row?

Everyone asks what my fascination with her is and the answer is always the same...
I really don't know.

She's incredible, but so are many other buildings. She was designed by John Parkinson,
the man who also designed L.A. City Hall, again, so were many other buildings.
She still stands beautiful and proud among all the sadness and despair,
and yet again, so do many other buildings.

So why is she special?

I still can't answer that, but I do know that I want to share her beauty with others.
