In Depth With Silver Samurai
“Umm… excuse me, can I have a word with you?” A feisty young reporter asked as he rushed up to Silver Samurai, as he exited from the White House.
“Sure, what is it?” Silver Samurai
asked politely.
“I like to do an interview with you.
I pay you good money of course,” The reported proclaimed with a bright smile.
Silver Samurai paused to think for a
minute, “What day do you want me?”
The reporter’s mouth almost dropped
before finally recovering, “Tomorrow will be fine. And of course we pay you…”
“No need to pay me, I be there
tomorrow, see you then.”
Silver Samurai left as the happy
reporter rushed back to the office to report that he got this biggest hero to
date to agree to an interview.
The next morning Silver Samurai arrived
bright and earlier for his interview, after makeup, which Silver Samurai
protested to, they sat his down in a not so comfortable chair, in front on two
cameras. After a thirty minute wait the reporter finally appeared to sit in his
chair. Another two hours went by they were finally ready to begin taping.
“Welcome this is the April 15, 2010
edition of In Depth,” The reporter said with enthusiasm when he got his cue.
“Today we have the pleasure of interviewing one of the biggest stars of today.
Fresh from saving our country yesterday during a live Press conference, my
hero, and I’m sure yours, Silver Samurai.”
Silver Samurai managed to give the
best smile possibly, considering he had been put through of over three hours of
boredom, the smile wasn’t that bright.
“First off why don’t you tell us
where you are from?”
“Well I was born January 30, 1981 in
San Diego, California.”
“That makes you 29 correct?”
“Correct.”
“Tell us about your parents.”
“My dad was killed about two years
ago,” Silver Samurai frowned.
“And your mom?”
“Lets just say we have our
differences,” Silver Samurai stated with angry in his voice.
“Any siblings?”
“My brother, Brian, also fights
crime under the name of Forgotten One.”
“How did he come up with that name?”
“At on point in time my brother was
convinced he lived only in my shadows, so he started calling himself The
Forgotten One. He now realizes he is just as much in the spotlight as I am, but
for old times sakes he has never changed his name.”
“Do you have a family right now?”
“I have a wife, Rosa, and two kids.”
“How old are the younguns?”
“Nine-teen.”
“Nine-teen?”
“Yes our sons grew up unimaginably
fast. I think it is because they are so gifted in magic. Never the less we
consider the two are little angels, even if they are all grown up now.”
“Speaking of which, where did you
get your fire magic from?”
“From my dad, the talented Spell
Master.”
“Who killed your father?”
“If you don’t mind I prefer not to
talk about such a sensitive matter.”
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s ok.”
“Do you have any arch enemies?”
Silver Samurai laughed.
“I’m sorry did I tell a joke?” The
reporter asked confused.
“Sorry it is just so funny how many
people want me dead, people ranging from my ex wife to my own mother. But I
would have to say my two biggest enemies would be my former child hood friend,
Bomb Squad, and my evil clone New Samurai.”
“Tell us about them.”
“Well New Samurai, I’m sure everyone
know after attacking the president yesterday.”
“Yes it’s a good thing you came to
save the day.”
“What can I say right place, right
time. As for what the people might not know, New Samurai is the head of the
biggest gathering of… well basically scum in my opinion. He calls his
organization F.W.L. or Future World Leaders.”
“And as for Bomb Squad?”
“Bomb Squad is the lord of the
Underworld, and there forth controls a legion of undead warriors.”
“And both Bomb Squad and New Samurai
want you dead?”
“As well as each other.”
“Explain?”
“F.W.L. and Bomb Squad’s group,
Underworld Team both want to rule this planet. But both New Samurai and Bomb
Squad are control freaks, and refuse to share power of this planet. As a result
not only does F.W.L. and Underworld team spend their time trying to kill me,
but each other.”
“That’s quite interesting.”
“Lets hope your viewers think the
same thing. I hate to think I caused your rating to go down the drain,” Silver
Samurai managed a smile.
“I’m sure everyone enjoyed your
story just as much as I did. Thank you for…” a rumbling behind the camera,
followed by a loud crash, cut off the reporter. “What was that?”
“Where’s Silver Samurai?” an angry
voice asked from behind the camera.
“I’m right here,” Silver Samurai
said as he stood up.
“YOU!” The camera panned back to
reveal the face of a troubled man, in his left hand a very sharp, and very
deadly sword that was press up against the neck of an innocent bystander. “I
have looked all over for you.”
