Return To Tundra

Tundra was every bit the bustling city town, silver Samurai remembered it to be. If you look up, you can see that the town itself was under the water, just one of the amazing technology of this advance civilization, as for the city itself, it was mostly sky scarpers and other large buildings that populated the city. In the background Silver Samurai could see the largest building, the Star Corps headquarters.

“It’s nice to see you again, Queen Leslee,” a human said, greeting the three weary travelers on top of the landing area for all the large sized space vehicles. The unidentified human was dressed in a pair of blue slacks, purple shirt and a blue vest, the official colors of Tundra. His short hair was also died in a combination color of blue on one side, Purple on the other.

“And you are?” Leslee asked, not recognizing the stranger. Leslee herself was now wearing a formal purple gown, her long blondish hair up in an elegant pattern on her head, her Crescent Moon Staff in her right hand, a symbol of power.

“Sorry please forgive me, I’m X,” the handsome stranger replied.

“What an unusual name to name your kid,” Forgotten One said in the background. Forgotten One himself was wearing blue slacks and a blue blazer, with his short blond hair combed back, very uncharacteristic of his usual blue jeans and white T-shirt, shoveled blond hair. But hey when you are about to be crowned King of your own small little moon, you can’t be wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and dirty blond hair.

“Oh please forgive me I’m not human, I’m a robot. I’m the one who rebuilt Tundra,” X replied with a smile of pride.

“You could have fooled me,” Avatar said. Avatar was still dressed in his light

Chain armor and leather pants, his red hair a mess to say the least. Avatar wouldn’t change clothes even if your threatened him with death, and Leslee certainly did try that.

“Shush,” Silver Samurai said putting a finger to his lips. And of course as always Silver Samurai was wearing all white, but at least he put his shoulder length dark brown hair in a pony tail, just for Leslee.

“I remember now. You were the secret project the Star Team was working on right before the destruction of Tundra,” Leslee said, trying to remember the exact details, “A robot with ultra realistic human characteristics, right down to the body.”

“Sir,” One of the robots said, getting the attention of X, “everything is set for the wedding.”

“Wait a minute, we are getting married right now?” Leslee asked, slightly concerned with the quickness of this all.

“Do you have an objection with that?” X asked.

“No, I suppose not,” Leslee said, slightly uneasy.

A couple of hours later, Silver Samurai and Avatar were sitting in a church surrounded by members of Star Corps. With every robot wearing the exact same thing, The blue spacesuit, with ‘SC’ in purple on the chest, and a helmet and visor covering their face, silver Samurai couldn’t help but think that he and avatar looked slightly out of place.

Forgotten One was already at the head of church, now wearing a black tuxedo, was waiting patiently for his bride to be.

“Funny I thought it was illegal to wear anything but purple and blue here,” Avatar whispered to Silver Samurai.

“Well I though Brian would have to be dead before we see him in a tux,” Silver Samurai whispered back at Avatar.

            They both chuckled.

“Here Come the Bride” Started to play, as Leslee started to walk down the aisle with a gorgeous white wedding dress on, her long blondish hair was now down in a pony tail.

“I always was envious of my brother,” Silver Samurai whispered.

“And why is that?” Avatar asked.

“Oh no reason…” Silver Samurai said trailing off.

Leslee has reached the later and the procedure was on the way.

“Dearly beloved we are gathered here today,” X said acting as the preacher. X was now wearing a tux very similar to Forgotten One’s, and now sporting short brown hair.

“Talented man… eh hem I mean robot,” Avatar whisper.

“Yeah, I didn’t know he knew how to do a wedding ceremony,” Silver Samurai whispered.

“No I’m talking about how he changes hair styles so quick”

The both chuckled a little louder than they should have been.

“Keep it down up there,” one of the robots said from behind Silver Samurai and Avatar.

“Sorry,” Both Silver Samurai and Avatar said at the same time.

Back at the alter X, was just now getting to the “I do’s.”

“Do you Brian Short, take this woman to be your wife?”

“I do” Forgotten one answered a little nervously, running his hand through his hair trying to calm himself down.

“Stop that, you are messing up your hair,” Leslee said slapping Forgotten One’s hand away.

X, who didn’t seem to notice any of what just went on, went on with his job as preacher, “Do you Leslee Moon take this man to be your husband?”

“I do,” Leslee said with a lot more confidence than Forgotten One, although they was still a trace of nervousness or perhaps fear in her voice.

“Then I now pronounce you man and wife, you may now kiss the bride.”

“Come, lets get out of here,” Silver Samurai said standing up and grabbing Avatar by the hand.

“Yeah I don’t blame you,” Avatar said standing up, “I can live without the mushy stuff too.”

The next morning Silver Samurai and Avatar were just waking up. Over night they were placed in the elegant two-bedroom hotel. This place was more elegant then some of the old castles Silver Samurai have seen. But speaking of which Silver Samurai couldn’t help but wonder why they didn’t stay in the palace and instead were stuck in this hotel.

No sooner did Silver Samurai hop out of bed, then the door flew open, and a hysterical Leslee came rushing into the room, still in her nightgown, her hair a mess.

“He’s gone!” Leslee shouted, “Brian’s gone!”
