Today

I went to see Heero again, today. I don't know if he really did mean what he said about me. I hope he did. It's always been my dream to be with him. I know it's selfish, but all I ever want to do is be with him. I guess it's because he's my only comfort, now that my father is gone. I need to be with him to get over my sorrow of your loss, father. It's foolish of me, I know. Chasing after a guy, like I am now. But it's what I need to do. It's what I have to do. Heero, please don't run away from me...

The year is After Colony 195. The Alliance pacifist leaders have been assissnated and an all out war has been launched against OZ and the remaining Alliance members. Claiming to have diplomatic relations with the colonies, Oz has a reason to be in outer space. Gaining one colony support after another.

Relena is standing on the shore of the beach, looking around, at no particular direction in mind.

Relena: "Heero! I'm right over here, Heero! So come over and kill me!"

Heero and Trowa are standing in an abandoned alley.

Trowa: "I know there's someone following us. It's just a matter of time before they find us."
Heero nodds in agreement.
Heero: "We best be in our way, then."
Trowa: "Yes. We'll take the next ship crossing the border."

Cut to Duo.

Duo appears from a hanger, waiting for the tech crew to pass so that he can board. Duo runs quietly toward the plane heading for earth.

Duo: [thinking] If I could board the next flight safely, then it'd be no problem. I need to find a carrier to head to L-4 Colony district. Hopefully, Quatre knows what the hell is going on.

Shuttle plane takes off.

Cut to Quatre.

Quatre is sitting down on a huge chair and talks to Rashid and his other associate.

Quatre: "Aren't we being a little too cautious at this point? The leader of this colony has already proclaimed that this district won't be taken by OZ."
Rashid: "That might be Quatre-sama, but we still need to be alert. There's no telling when Oz will come to claim this colony."
Quatre: "Yes. You're right. It's no telling when Oz will come."
Quatre with a sad look on his face: "So far, they've gotton their way through the colonies by being supportive of their diplomatic relations."
Quatre: [thinking] Father, what would you do?
Man: "Quatre-sama, there is a call for you."

Quatre looks at the screen.

Duo appears smiling.

Quatre: "Duo!"
Duo: "Hey! What's up buddy boy. Glad you haven't fogotten about me, yet."
Quatre: "Have you heard from the others?"
Duo: "No, I haven't. That's why I'm contacting you."
Quatre: "I see."
