Sano's Profile
Sano Izumi is one of my favorite characters in the manga. He is very unsocial until he meets Mizuki and he starts to lighten up a bit. He is the high jump star that Mizuki admires and crossed an ocean for to see. When Mizuki first meets him, he turns out to be a real jerk but then he changed because Mizuki and him got close and became very good friends. He had an accident before that 'supposedly' caused him to quit the high jump. His friend Rika was almost hit by a car but Sano pushed her out of the way and had gotten his leg hurt. He quite the high jump after that. Mizuki got him to go back to the high jump again though (YEY!^_^). He finds out that Mizuki is actually a girl from the very beginning but keeps her secret and doesn't tell anyone that he knows about it. Mizuki is also unaware of his knowing about her secret. He protects her from everyone who wants to hurt her and keeps her secret from being revealed. He doesn't tell anyone because he wants to be by her side.*awe*
He can be a real jerk at times but he is also very sweet at times. He develops feelings for Mizuki and even wants her to be by his side. (hehe, i squeek and squeel everytime they have a moment together) I really hope these two get togeter one of these days. But alas, in the world of manga things always tend to go wrong for the heros, making the plot soo unpredictable. Dammit! o well. guess that's what fanfics are for.
