Finnish Submarine Badge?
Here is a report of a badge acquired in Italy, supposedly Finnish!!! "It is in very sharp diecast metal with very sharp edges and the circle painted in very dark blue enamel. It has a screw fixing, placed not in the middle but in the higher part of the reverse; the nut is dented to grip the cloth. In the lower part of the reverse there is the mark "VELJEKSET SUNDQVIST" split in two lines in very small caracters (1/2 mm height) and the word "VELJEKSET" is in even silghtly smaller caracters. Dimension are 2,71x2,10 cm, 1,89cm the diameter of the propeller.
I've browsed to internet but I've found only that Veljekset Sunqvist was the maker of the finnish WWII airforce pilot and observer badge; the overall shape of this badge is similar to those of the first type pilot, but in a smaller scale." That comes from Agati Massimo. I have no clue.
Ukranian Submarine Badge?
This is on ebay right now. The sub is plastic. The seller says it is for the men who operate the Ukraines' three nuclear subs. I don't think the Ukraine has nukes and I think it's bogus.
New Bulgarian
I am not sure if this ever made it and I am too lazy to look. This is a lapel pin that supposedly used by the non-communist Bulgarian submarine force. Still haven't gotten one of these.
New Yugoslavian Badges
Another one that I am not sure is a repeat or not. Non-communist non-red star versions of Yugoslavian badges.
Dolfyn Badge
1962 commemorative for the Dutch sub Dolfyn.
Old Mess Dress Israeli Variant and Unknown Torpedo Badge
The Israeli is from an old, recently found die. Slightly different than the current style. I have no idea where the torpedo badge is from. Let me know if you have any ideas. It has an old style pin on back without a safety latch.
