Launching a raft.  Our Senior Patrol Leader takes the initiative - the rest didn't want to get wet with the water at 44 degrees.  They got wet later anyway.

We had 3 rafts, 2 for the Scouts and one for the adults.  The Scouts didn't want to go with the BORING people.  Right after launch, we had to get to the other side of the river to negotiate the first rapid.  The adults were determined to show the Scouts how to do it.  Well, it didn't work out that way - we went down sideways.  You could hear the laughter for miles.

Stuck on a rock in the middle of the river.

Stuck on a rock along the side of the river.  OK, the adult raft got stuck once too.
