Liev Schreiber as Cotton
"Sidney, I'd just like to say that I forgive and forget, and just like you, I'd like to get back on with my own life."

--- Cotton Weary

"He's trying to put his life together, and that means revisiting some of the ghosts of Woodsboro."

--- Liev Schreiber

LIEV SCHREIBER appeared in a brief cameo in SCREAM as Cotton Weary, the man Sidney Prescott wrongly accused of murdering her mother. Now, two years later, Cotton is free and is seeking redemption and heroism through television.

Schreiber first came to notice receiving critical acclaim for his roles in such independent films as "The Daytrippers," "Walking and Talking," and "Party Girl." Last year, he played a kidnapper in "Ransom," costarring Mel Gibson. Other film credits include "Mad Love" and "Baggage."

Schreiber will next join Dustin Hoffman, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sharon Stone in Barry Levinson's "Sphere," Robin Williams in "Jakob the Liar," and will be reunited with SCREAM costar Rose McGowan in Dean Koontz's "Phantoms," also starring Peter O'Toole and Ben Affleck.

Born in New York, Schreiber studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Yale School of Drama.
