MATT KEESLAR is Tom Prinze, a
self-assured actor
starring as the heroic ex-cop Dewey Riley
(David
Arquette) in
"Stab 3: Return to Woodsboro," the
sequel to "Stab 2," which was based on the
killings that occured in Sidney Prescott's
college.
Keeslar recently completed work on Dimension Films'
"Texas Rangers," starring Dylan McDermott,
James Van Der Beek and Rachael Leigh Cook,
in which he plays a cowboy. His other upcoming
film role will be that of a foreign exchange
student in the comedic thriller
"Psycho Beach Party." His most recent films
include the Sundance Film Festival entry
"Urbania," Gregg Araki's "Splendor" and "The
Last Days of Disco." Previously, he was seen in
Chris Guest's "Waiting for Guffman," the Irish-set
"The Run of the Country" and played a castrated TV
actor in Larry David's "Sour Grapes."
Additionally, Keeslar played one of Susan
Sarandon's sons in "Safe Passage," had a small part
in Robert Redford's "Quiz Show" and also appeared
in "Mr. Magoo," "Renaissance Man" and the TV
production of "A Streetcar Named Desire," with
Jessica Lange and Alec Baldwin.
Keeslar grew up in Michigan and attended the
actor’s program at the Juilliard School.
