Hello ~ Welcome to Taryn's Page. Taryn was born on February 1st, 1995, at 5:05 a.m.. She weighed 8 pounds, 1 3/4 ounces. She was 21 inches long. She was born at 41 weeks gestation. She is a very loved and wanted baby girl. She will always be our precious little angel. Taryn was diagnosed at 18 weeks gestation with Down Syndrome. At 20 weeks, a heart defect was found. After Taryn was born, she stayed in the hospital for 11 days. She was on oxygen, but we were so happy to get her home with us and her then 2 1/2 year old brother, Jared Ray. She made everyone smile from the moment she was born. She is so beautiful~a face that would light up even the darkest room. She went to the doctor often, and eventually she had to have open-heart surgery. She was 2 1/2 months old. She had a long, hard struggle, but pulled through such an awful ordeal. That experience has changed us forever. She came home from the hospital the day before mother's day of 1995. What a wonderful gift!! She brought joy to people's lives all around her~just by being here. Our precious "Itty-Bitty Princess" died on May 15th, 1995, due to complications of her heart. She tried for such a long, hard time to stay with us, but she just couldn't fight anymore. She is our little angel now, and will stay in our hearts, mind, and souls FOREVER. Our daughter she'll always be. We had a service for her, and she is buried very near our home. We visit the cemetary often, but talk to Taryn every day. She is always with us.
Taryn's big brother Jared Ray is now 6 years old. She also has another brother, Logan Isaac who is 21 months old. And, she recently got a new baby sister, Tayah Alyson, and she is 4 months old. Her brothers and her sister will know Taryn as their sister~she is and always will be. We know we will see her beautiful face again someday, but until then we will love her and cherish each and every moment we had with her in our arms~however much they ache now, we know we will hold her again.
