Jacob Schaffer Williams was born February 21, 1835 in Kinderhook, Columbia, New York. He Married Jane Augusta Stanley on January 12, 1859 in Gloversville, New York. In 1868 they moved to Carroll County, Missouri. Jacob was one of the organizers of the Tina Bank in Tina Missouri. Jacob died August 20, 1914 in Tina, Missouri. Jane died August 2, 1889 also in Tina, Missouri.
Their children are:
(1) Charles S. Williams. He was born December 9, 1859 in Gloversville, Fulton, New York. He married Clara S. Shields.
(2) James Williams was born April 21, 1861 in Gloversville, Fulton, New York. He was married to Mina M. Coppage on October 18, 1899 in Tina, Carroll, Missouri.
(3) Jennie W. Williams was born in July 5,1866 In Knox County, Illinois. She married John David Reader on October 13, 1886 in Carroll County Missouri. She later passed away May 15, 1912.
(4)George D. Williams was born April 29, 1868 in Galesburg,Knox, Illinois. He was married to Florence Roberts on September 28, 1893 in Tina, Missouri.
(5)Kate Williams was born September 6, 1873 in Carroll County Missouri. She married A.C. Mendenhall on October 23, 1895 in Carroll County, Missouri.
(6)Jacob Leroy Williams was born September 19, 1882 in Carroll County, Missouri.
