Results from the 1999 Liberty November Tournament

The Liberty November Tournament was held on 13 November 1999 at Liberty High School in Colorado Springs. It was a 4SS G/30 event with both rated and nonrated sections. Larry Wutt organized the tournament on behalf of the Liberty High School Chess Club and Southern Colorado Chess. The directors were Ken Schwartz and Roy Heath.

Joe Bihlmeyer won the $20 first prize in the rated section with a score of 3.5. The $10 U1400 prize went to Dean Brown, who scored 2.5 points.

In the 6 player nonrated section, Eric Grunzke and Wayne Montieth split the $20 first prize with 3.0 points apiece.
