RESULTS FROM THE 2000 LIBERTY JANUARY TOURNAMENT | |
| A total of 32 chessplayers
participated in the Liberty January Tournament, held on
15 January 2000 at Liberty High School in Colorado
Springs. The event employed a G/40 quadrangular
("quad") format, i.e., round robins were
contested within groups of four similarly rated players.
Crosstables from the six rated quads appear below. Larry Wutt organized the tournament on behalf of the Liberty High School Chess Club and Southern Colorado Chess. The directors were Ken Schwartz and Roy Heath. The following players won prizes.
