Hulk Hogan is the world's greatest professional wrestler of all time, hands
down! He beat all the biggest names in wrestling. His name is a household
word, his face, most reconized in all of wrestling. Hogan has been in about
12 movies. Before he cast off his famed "yellow and red" for black, he burst
on the WCW scene with much fan support (fanfare) on June 17, 1994, he
beat Ric Flair for his first WCW World Championship. His signature
bandanna, fiery eyes, blond mustache, and rippling biceps that tear his
T-shirts to shreads created a larger than life persona beyond the squared
circle. "I've said it before, and I'll say it again: say your prayers, take your
vitamins, believe in yourself, God and Hulk Hogan. And remember, dreams
can and DO come true," Hogan said. Hulk is a 5 time WWF champion, and
a 6 time WCW champion. "Wrestling isn't just a hobby to me. It's my job
and I know that." - 'Hollywood' Hulk Hogan. And what a job he has done
since winning his first championship in 1984. He has taken wrestling from
dingy-lit high school gyms to jam-packed arenas around the world. His
greatest match ever was a win over Andre' The Giant in front of 93,173 fans
at the Pontiac (Mich.) Silverdome. "That had to be the single most
unbelievable moment in my career so far." Hogan is still, however, the
focal-point of wrestling. Hogan beat Ric Flair on numerous occasions in
1994 and 1995, but now they have started again. Hollywood Hogan beat Ric
Flair at Superbrawl IX. Hollywood, as it seems, almost transformed into the
"Hulkster" by what all wrestling fans call "Hulking-up" during a match with
Ric Flair, in a cage, at Uncensored. The Hulkster's Back and Flair's gonna be
in trouble, hey-la, hey-la, the Hulkster's Back! Did you see Hogan's speech
on Nitro, when he was on crutches? It surely seems like he's gonna drop the
"Hollywood", and just be good old Hulk Hogan again, he's great!!!!
UPDATE! 7/12/99 Monday Nitro! Hollywood Hogan was there! Macho Man
challenged ANYONE, so out came Hogan! Hogan came through all Savage's
cheating tactics, Sid came out to help Macho them came Sting, and Nash, to
the aid of Hogan. But Nash had to wine, like a baby, waaa, waaa, waaa.
Hogan will fight Nash at Road Wild, he will probably get CHEATED out of
his belt, that's IF he loses. Sid loses to Hogan....again! 7/26/99 Nitro,
President Sting and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan vs, Sid and Nash.
Hogan/Sting were kickin' you know what, 'till Rick Steiner hit them from
behind with a steel chair. Then came Goldberg, Rick hit him to, Nitro ended
with the three best wrestlers layed-out, Hulk Hogan, Sting, and Goldberg.
Nash is adopting Eddy's old phrase, "Cheat to Win". Well at least Hogan
proved to Sting that he can be trusted, and that he's not the same Hollywood
he fought in 1998.
