My name is Danielle and I am 22 years old. I have been married to my husband Nathan for almost 3 years. We have two beautiful children. Our daughter Kady is 3 years old and our son Elijah is 1 year old.
Nathan has been a Deputy Sheriff for 3 years and he is very dedicated. Sometimes I am selfish and think that he is too dedicated. To be honest if I had of known what I know now when I first met him. I probably wouldn't have married him. Not because I don't truly love him but because it takes alot to be A Cops Wife.
Not many people realize it but it takes a special kind of woman to be A Cops Wife. We have to make alot of sacrifices that most of the time involve the time we spend with our spouses. Not only do we have to be willing to share our husbands with the community but we have to learn to manage the household completely on our own. There are so many things that we have adjusted to doing alone. Like getting together with the family on holidays, kids birthday parties, anniversaries, eating and alot of times sleeping. And the biggest thing that we have to deal with is the worry when he begins his tour of duty. But personally I have learned that I can't deal with this on my own. I have learned to turn my worry over to God. Because I know that God will watch over Nathan while he is out serving and protecting the community and I trust that He will bring him home safely to me and our children. And when the day comes when he ends his tour of duty for the last time; I know that God will give me the strength and the courage to go on and continue to give our children the best lives I can possibly give them.
THIS SITE IS DEDICATED TO MY HUSBAND NATHAN:
Baby I know that being a cop has been your life long dream and up until now I didn't realize it but being A Cops Wife is mine. I look forward to fulfilling our dreams together. When you begin your shift of a long, rough night--remember I'm thinking of you
When you are in a high speed chase, in pursuit of a drunk--remember I worry about you
When you arrest someone and it just doesn't seem fair--remember I understand you
When you are on a call, with a couple that just can't get along--remember I love you
When you are patrolling the streets, in search of crime--remember I support you
When you are on an accident with a family involved--remember I need you
When your shift ends and you are coming home--remember I want you
Everyday and every shift, through all life sends our way--remember I'll stand beside you--FOREVER!
I love you Baby,
Danielle
