People have asked why I did this page, the number one reason is because I love cows. I have cows of all kinds in my kitchen: cookie jars, pot holders, tea kettle, mugs, figurines, photos, etc.

If you're wondering how this website came into being it's because my husband and I love to take rides in the mountains. We like to go on the back roads and we kept coming across these signs that say "Cow Camp", being a bit silly we started making jokes about those signs. My kids happened to be at camp on one particular ride and we decided then and there that it would make an interesting website.

So, that is how this website came about. It has grown since I designed it in August of 1997, hopefully we'll have new photos of cows to post. Most of them on the photo page are ones that we have taken. Whenever we go on our rides if there are cows nearby we stop and try to get pictures of them. Most of them are camera shy so it's been a challenge.
