With a stellar crew of RP talent, disputes will probably not arise very often. But in order to allow the game to run smoothly it has always been important to have people to moderate. For this game I've elected to continue the 'triad' system which has worked very well in the past.

As the current list owner I, Colin, will be a moderator for the game. Most people on the list will also be familier with the remaining moderators, Erica and Jonathan. In past games, these two have proven themselves reliable and level in their ability to help a game run smoothly.

Moderators have the power ONLY to address disputes brought to them by people in the game. This system is designed so that moderators cannot infurl the game with red tape, or incidentaly create disputes in an attempt to prevent them. However, the moderators have the option and perogative to bring concerns to the List Owner, who has an absolute authority within the game. This is a failsafe to insure order is kept. For instance, if a player is abusing a character's level of power, moderators would bring the dispute to the list owner, who would then either approve or deny their request to act. If approved, the moderator then obtains an absolute authority to resolve that issue.

In addition to the actual moderators within the game, there will be a player with authority to act for the list owner at any time. Dale has authority to perform any addition, removal, or alteration within the game world. Even though he does not have time to moderate, Dale has often proved a great trust and I have the utmost faith in his decisions. In the past, Dale has had this option and never used it - another reason I trust him with it so much.

Players in the game have the right to bring a dispute or request to any of the three moderators, and a decision from a moderator will immediately affect the game and does not require the permission of any of the other moderators or the list owner. Players also have the right to solve problems without the help of a moderator, in which case a moderator cannot affect their decision without list owner approval.

If any players feel a moderator is biased against them, they should bring their problem to another mod, and bring up their concerns to the list owner so that they can be addressed. Moderators have a solemn responsibility to be fair to all players in the game - breach of this trust will result in the removal of a moderator and instatement of a new one.
