Convert Vietnamese text between different codes and Unicode

  Text Converter (at the bottom of this page) is a Web Application that  helps you to convert text and documents that are composed in different Vietnamese codes to Unicode and vice versa. It currently supports the following conversions:
VNI to Unicode and vice versa.
TCVN (ABC) to Unicode and vice versa.
Please Read Very Carefully the guide bellows before you use this program
Preparation :In order to run the program, you must download file policy.zip and use WinZip (in Windows) or other tools (in Unix) to extract it to your home directory on your computer.

Your home directory in WindowNT and Window 2000: Click your right mouse button on the icon My Documents on your Desktop, choose Properties. Look in the part "Target", your home directory will be the parent folder of  the folder My Documents.
For example: if in the "Target" you see
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents, your home directory is C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator. Extract the file policy.zip there.
 

Your home directory in Window 9x and Window ME : It is the directory where you have installed Window 9x /Window ME.
It is likely
C:\Windows. Extract the file policy.zip there.


Usage:
You have 2 methods to input text to convert
1. You can copy text that you want to convert to clipboard, paste to the Input area, then click the "Convert" button.
2. You can use the "Browse..." button to select file text or HTML you want to convert, then click the "Convert" button. Note:
when you use this method, please delete all text in Input area.

Result will be put in the Output area. Copy this text, paste to Notepad, then save it as HTML file (*.HTM, *.HTML), or paste in HTML editor of FrontPage (
NOT in Normal editor), then save it as HTML file (*.HTM, *.HTML). You can also use the "Save" button to save the text in Output area to a  HTML file (*.HTM, *.HTML).
