Miwa Ueda is the creator of Peach Girl. She partially based Momo, the main character, on herself. As a student in junior high school, she was constantly embarrassed because she tanned very easily. She is also the creator of Angel Wars, Oh My Darling, and Glass Hearts.

She was born Hyogo, Japan on September 29th, and her blood type is O. Her debuts include "Pink Aphrodisiac" and "Juliet" in Kodansha in May 1985.
