Vagabond
- Vagabond’s real name is Priscilla Lyons. She has trained with several acrobatic super-heroes who have helped her become highly athletic. She knows several forms of martial arts and can even wrestle.
- Not much is known of Priscilla before she hooked up with and fell in love with Jack Monroe, alias Nomad, other than that she was searching for her missing brother Phil at the time. After their hookup, Priscilla adapted the alias of Vagabond, which she thought complimented the name Nomad. When Steve Rogers disappeared for a while (and became the Captain), she and Nomad joined D-Man and the Falcon and went looking for him. For the most part, Priscilla stayed out of combat situations while traveling with Nomad, D-Man, and the Falcon since she had no powers or equipment to help her at the time. When she and D-Man became friendly during their time together, Nomad became paranoid and accused them of seeing each other behind his back. Worried that Nomad might try and hurt her, Priscilla ended their relationship but stayed with the group for time, helping them against the Viper and Serpent Society’s nihilistic assault on Washington D.C. Sometime afterwards, Priscilla left Nomad and the others and quietly disappeared.
- A short while later, Priscilla resurfaced, seeking out the Power Broker so that he would use his machines on her to give her enhanced strength. In turn, she hoped that this would make her a better fighter. However, during the visit with the Power Broker, he was attacked by the villain killer Scourge. The Power Broker managed to survive, but he was rendered practically immobile after he underwent his own strength-enhancing treatment. Priscilla managed to avoid being killed as well, but she ended up being captured by Dr. Karl Malus, the Power Broker’s chief scientist, who wanted to take over his former boss’ organization. He forced Priscilla to use an imprint of the Broker’s hand (made by an epidermal mold) to try and break into the Broker’s fingerprint-locked safe so that she could steal his files, files that Malus needed to continue the Power Broker’s work. Fortunately, Priscilla turned the tables on Malus and defeated him.
- Months later, in an ill-thought plan to make a life for herself as an adventurer, Priscilla joined the Scourge of the Underworld organization, posing as the sister of the Las Vegas petty criminal, Mysteria, and was given further combat training by Bloodstain. However, when Priscilla couldn’t bring herself to kill a retired Matador, who was holding his infant child at the time, Priscilla abandoned the Scourge organization and sought the UsAgent for protection against the group. The Scourges were eventually brought down by the UsAgent, and Priscilla has never been seen since, which is a major shame because she is one of several Cap characters that I would love to see again!
