The Commonwealth of Norad is unique micronation. Not quite a direct democracy or a parliamentary democracy. Norad combines the best of both. Norad was founded by Gold Tooth on February 3, 1999 as the Union of Noridian Socialist Republics (UNSR) for a micronational war simulation leauge known as Combat Imperialism. Today Norad is a far more democratic micronation, and considers itself to be anarchist to an extent. The current head of state is President Chris Edward Toke, and on behalf of the people of Norad we welcome you :o)

Please feel free to browse our website. You can access our homepage by clicking on the flag in the top left corner. Thank you.

Tell me about the National Coat of Arms? On Norads crest you will notice a Statue of Liberty with the head of Karl Marx. This represents how Norad respects both socialism and freedom. The rat is our national pet. The mushroom cloud represents how our micronation can withstand even the strongest of attacks.

The mountain picture? They are part of Norads splendid range of snow covered mountains.

How about Norads flag? For seven months a red and black star was the official flag of Norad, but recently President Toke has designed a new flag which he hopes to have ratified soon. The red and black is a common flag of the anarcho syndicalist movement, this represents Norads principles of worker control, direct democracy, and self management. The "C" symbol in the flags center is basically there because we are the Commonwealth of Norad, it was origanally from the British Commonwealth flag.

Is Norad in the space race? Yes! Norads first test soared to around twenty feet. President Toke is hoping for fifty feet in the next test.

How can I find out more about Norad? You can go to our homepage by clicking on our flag. Once there you can take a History 101 course. Browsing through old archives can teach you a lot too. Our forums can also yield a wealth of information.

The people of Norad thank you for visiting our pavilion. We hope you have enjoyed your stay. Alls always your welcome back.
