CATNAPPERS * Collection of Thoughts *

This is your first timers, run of the mill, don't know what the heck I am doing, basic, generic type homepage. No fancy stuff yet, like some of my friends. For those of you who don't know me but would like to, my screen name is Catnapper. You can find me at odd hours in Home and Family, coolchat. My true life name is Kathy or Kate. (age 44) I share my life with my husband John and our combined family. John has two children: Troy (27) and Leigh (24). I also have two children: Shannon (23) and Eric (15). It doesn't stop there..we have 3 grandchildren: Chelsey (5), Logan (3) and Drake (1) and Brent soon to arrive.. Eric is the only one left at home. He is a great kid, I say that because he will read this. Raising Teen-agers is like nailing Jello to a tree. We live in the land of 10,000 lakes 20 miles north of Brainerd, Minnesota. Most of you will not know or care where that is at. That's okay, most of the time I don't know where I am at either. Surrounded by great puddles of water, we spend a lot of time fishing and boating. On dry land I get lost. Though we do hunt in the fall for grouse and also deer. John is the braver one, he takes trips to Colorado once a year to Elk hunt. And on occasion he will seek out the bear. John has worked at the same place for the last 25 years. He loves it that much, ha ha ha. He is constantly changing shifts, in fact works all three each month. We never know if we are coming or going. Believe me when I say we look forward to retirement. RV will travel! Myself....I retired a couple of years ago from Finance and Insurance. Now I make Home. You know the routine: mopping floors, baking, canning, sewing, mop more floors, do dishes, wash clothes, mop more floors, vacuum and dust. When I am done mopping floors I will get on the puter and look you up.
